Tacoma Fort Lewis Taxi

I would not recommend this taxi service. Prior to dropping our car off at the Port of Tacoma for storage, we called Fort Lewis Taxi Service earlier in the day to confirm they had debit/credit card capabilities in their taxis and were able to drive onto a military installation. The taxi did arrive with not much waiting, but it was NOT the Fort Lewis Taxi Service. The cabbie said his debit/credit card capability was not functioning and drove us to the closest ATM at a gas station. I can work with that BUT he kept the meter running as I waited in line for the ATM. Arrive at McChord AFB and he does not have a manual receipt booklet, he tears off a corner of scratch paper writes the amount of cash I gave him as well as a business card. Let me explain this when I go to file my travel voucher =(

I work at a local hospital and call them to take specimens to different hospitals and to take patients to different locations. I can always count on them to do the job!

This company has had a change in Management and has upgraded their dispatching system to a computer dispatch.They now accept credit cards in most if not all Taxi cabs.They also have a associated service that does pick you up at the Sea-Tac airport also.If you have an appointment you can set up a time call to be picked up by a certain time.Most wait time is 15 minutes or less except on Pay-day weekends.The drivers are friendly and know the area.
