My daughter went from struggling driving in a parking lot to driving well enough to make me comfortable in a short period of time. Kathy was her instructor and we highly recommend this firm and Kathy in particular
I learned so much during my week of Driver's Ed especially to not get very close to semi-trucks on the roads becasue they have huge blind spots. When driving, I will stay away from these trucks so I do not get into an accident.
I had no driving experience and my instructor Kathy Marlow was amazing. She helpes me feel comfortable and even when I made a mistake she didn't yell or scold me, just a gentle nudge in the right direction was what she gave me. She is a super instructor really, so if you're thinking of going with Taggert's and you want a great instructor, ASK FOR KATHY!!!
I took this class for insurance discount and found it to be very helpful. Great instructor in Ms. Nalley!
My daughter had such a great experience with Taggerts driving school. Mr. Webb, her instructor, made her feel calm and she felt so comfortable with him. She gained a lot of confidence through the 6 hrs she spent with him. He's a great instructor!
Get Jackie Evans for your Instructor! Knowledgeable and competent, Jackie puts you at ease and gives forthright instruction. Calm demeanor and perfect with new drivers. A true professional.
My daughter had 5 lessons with Allie Smith from Taggarts. Allie was patient, calm, skilled and most importantly, built my daughter's confidence. The first 3 lessons were included with the Taggarts program. We signed up for an additional 2 two hour lessons just before she took her driver's test to run through the test course and practice backing in and parallel parking. Allie made all the difference in the world! I would highly recommend Allie Smith!
My daughter learned so much and had a wonderful teacher in Mr. Love. I would highly recommend Taggarts!
Taggarts was a great driving school. I really enjoyed the classes with Mrs.Barnett, Mrs.Stasko, and Mrs. Dutter. They were fun and I learned a lot. Mrs. Pat Dutter was my in-car instructor and was really fun. I learned to a lot about the road and how to deal with other drivers. Driving with her made driving simple and soon I wasn't even nervous about the interstate. She also helped me prepare for the road test. Driving with her wasn't boring at all. She was really nice and helpful.
Mrs. Evans represented Taggart very well, what an awesome instructor. I'm well on my way! Thanks!
Contacted, asked questions, and set up an appt. for son all thru email with a final phone call to confirm. Courteous and pleasant office staff (Ashley). WONDERFUL instructor Ms. Evans who made the whole experience a pleasure for both my son and I. Great value in my book!
Just finished my drivers ed and now my boyfriend is taking it during Christmas. Had so much fun in the class. Never thought I would but it wasnít boring lecture but ms. barnett did all kinds of fun things that really helped me learn. The end challenge game was my favorite. my voice lessons kept making me have to reschedule the car lessons and ashley was so nice about all the times she kept having to change my lessons. It was my first time ever driving and I kept going out of my lane but the man, canít remember his name, used his wheel to get me back on track. I finally relaxed and was able to just listen and learn from his instructions bc I wasnít so scared about wrecking the car. I kept switching the brake and gas bc I have a slight birth defect with my foot but he would just use his own pedals and not make me feel dumb.
I just want to let you know how much I appreciate Taggartís office staff and instructors for the wonderful training my 3 children have received from your school. From the day I called and spoke to the office manager until the day my last child completed the program we were so pleased. Thank you for always being so accommodating and courteous.
I sent my son to Taggart's for the required Driver Ed classes. We had a pleasant experience with the office staff, but getting in car time scheduled was difficult. I think they might need more instructors as the wait was long. The cost was more expensive than other schools but the location at my son's school was ideal. We went to have his Road Test yesterday at their location on Lawrenceville highway and the girl in the office with short dark hair had her underwear hanging out of her jeans, and was dressed like she just rolled out of bed. I thought this was very unprofessional, especially when I was bringing my teenage son there. The office staff were very kind and professional in all other ways.
Thank you for choosing Taggart's Driving School. I thought you might be pleased to know that we read all of our reviews, and we take complaints seriously. As far as the long wait, just like at a doctor's office, the average wait for an after school or Saturday in-car driving lesson appointment is currently 3 weeks. These times are most popular for teenagers and thus get booked up sooner; however, we have several openings weekly throughout the early morning and early afternoon. We are sorry that you find this wait time not ideal. We are constantly evaluating the current demand, so that we can do our very best to consistently have the appropriate amount of instructors on staff. I am happy to hear that the office staff was "very kind and professional". We periodically monitor phone calls to ensure that each and every customer always receives a superior level of service. As for the negative comment, the nature of our business does not require suits; however, we do maintain a strictly business casual dress code. I took the time to look over the video security footage on 3/1/11, and all 3 girls working in the office were dressed nicely, and they certainly did not look like they had "just rolled out of bed". The girl you referenced was wearing jeans, but she paired them with a business-appropriate sweater and nice shoes. I noticed that your son did not pass the Road Test on that day at our Lawrenceville Highway location. I am sure not passing came as a great disappointment. I want to personally wish him luck on his next Road Test, either at our Tucker location or at the Department of Driver Services. Again, thank you for taking the time to review us and helping to make us better.
I was at my wits end trying to teach my daughter to drive so I turned to Taggarts. They took on the task of teaching her to drive and did a good job overall. Thanks for the help.
