Buyer BEWARE! What this location and the owner does not disclose is that they have very limited on-road driving appointments. If you are sick it takes months to reschedule as well as when the driving portion is complete it takes another 3 weeks to get the road test scheduled! They also promote taking a student out of school for the the driving portion,,,, Ridiculous! I see they are hiring constantly hiring so this could be the problem . The owner avoids all calls as well. Nathan's got us in for all 6 hours within 3 weeks which I am coming out of pocket another $400 . Taggart's has not even responded back to me about any refund. no surprise! A unhappy parent/customer

We experienced horrible and incredibly rude customer service from Taggarts. We were told to pay for the classroom session upfront and that we could pay the behind the wheel portion later. We paid the behind the wheel portion just as our on line account and customer service rep told us to and we were later told that we would have to pay an additional $85 more then our contracted amount. They were not willing to stand behind what their on line billing and agreement showed or what the customer service representative told us. We even spoke with the owner of the company, Barry and he was rude and said that he chooses to not update his computer systems regardless if it is at the expense of the consumer. Never experienced such horrible service and rude employees. We filed a complaint with the BBB.

In August 2014, during her very first driver's ed in-car lesson, Taggart's instructor took daughter who was 15 at the time and had essentially no driving experience, on the connector and I-285 during busy Saturday afternoon traffic. After about an hour of this driving, on 285, the instructor instructed my daughter to change lanes to the left. Daughter checked her blind spot and mirror but a truck came up very fast and struck the car. The instructor claims that she (the instructor) took control of the car before the collision but that my daughter took control back instantly - then the car collided with a semi. The instructor told the police this and our daughter was ticketed for an illegal lane change. (The charge was dismissed at arraignment.) We chose Taggart's because it advertised that the cars had instructor-side driving controls to allow instructors to take control of the cars. (Again, the instructor told the police officer that daughter immediately took control of the car back from the instructor. First, we don't believe this to have been the case. Second, why would this even be possible? If the purpose of the instructor controls is to take control of the car away from the student, why would the student be able to take it back immediately; this makes no sense. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident. However, I am seriously concerned that other kids might be put at grave risk.

My daughter went from struggling driving in a parking lot to driving well enough to make me comfortable in a short period of time. Kathy was her instructor and we highly recommend this firm and Kathy in particular

I learned so much during my week of Driver's Ed especially to not get very close to semi-trucks on the roads becasue they have huge blind spots. When driving, I will stay away from these trucks so I do not get into an accident.

I had no driving experience and my instructor Kathy Marlow was amazing. She helpes me feel comfortable and even when I made a mistake she didn't yell or scold me, just a gentle nudge in the right direction was what she gave me. She is a super instructor really, so if you're thinking of going with Taggert's and you want a great instructor, ASK FOR KATHY!!!

My daughter had such a great experience with Taggerts driving school. Mr. Webb, her instructor, made her feel calm and she felt so comfortable with him. She gained a lot of confidence through the 6 hrs she spent with him. He's a great instructor!

My daughter had 5 lessons with Allie Smith from Taggarts. Allie was patient, calm, skilled and most importantly, built my daughter's confidence. The first 3 lessons were included with the Taggarts program. We signed up for an additional 2 two hour lessons just before she took her driver's test to run through the test course and practice backing in and parallel parking. Allie made all the difference in the world! I would highly recommend Allie Smith!

Taggarts was a great driving school. I really enjoyed the classes with Mrs.Barnett, Mrs.Stasko, and Mrs. Dutter. They were fun and I learned a lot. Mrs. Pat Dutter was my in-car instructor and was really fun. I learned to a lot about the road and how to deal with other drivers. Driving with her made driving simple and soon I wasn't even nervous about the interstate. She also helped me prepare for the road test. Driving with her wasn't boring at all. She was really nice and helpful.

Contacted, asked questions, and set up an appt. for son all thru email with a final phone call to confirm. Courteous and pleasant office staff (Ashley). WONDERFUL instructor Ms. Evans who made the whole experience a pleasure for both my son and I. Great value in my book!

Just finished my drivers ed and now my boyfriend is taking it during Christmas. Had so much fun in the class. Never thought I would but it wasn't boring lecture but ms. barnett did all kinds of fun things that really helped me learn. The end challenge game was my favorite. my voice lessons kept making me have to reschedule the car lessons and ashley was so nice about all the times she kept having to change my lessons. It was my first time ever driving and I kept going out of my lane but the man, can't remember his name, used his wheel to get me back on track. I finally relaxed and was able to just listen and learn from his instructions bc I wasn't so scared about wrecking the car. I kept switching the brake and gas bc I have a slight birth defect with my foot but he would just use his own pedals and not make me feel dumb.
