Taggarts Driving School

I got a speeding ticket &was forced to take a defensive driving course by the state. I was not excited one bit to take it since I knew how boring it was supposed to be.I walked in and met with the teacher. He talked to us and showed us movies and actually made the course kinda funny by explaining things with real life, no nonsense examples. He actually made it enjoyable and much less boring! If you ever have to take defensive driving, I suggest you go see Mr. Goldstein in Alpharetta. He will make it worth your while.

I admit I worry a lot as a mother about my son driving, and I was frustrated that I had to work during each of my son’s three lessons and was unable to meet with the instructor to talk about his progress. Apparently, my son must have mentioned my disappointment to the instructor, because he called me that evening at home and spent about 15 minutes going over Trevor’s lesson and what I should really focus on teaching him. He called me after the remaining two lessons as well, and I am sure this was out of his own time. Thank you for going out of your way. I wish I could remember his name, and I can’t read the signature on my receipt, because I would recommend him to anyone. Also, when I first signed up, I went back and forth emailing the online manager, Ashley. I can’t take personal calls at work, and it was so great to get a quick response from her answering all my questions. Great overall experience.

Mr. May is super cool, and he made the class super fun! He is really nice, and he's the best teacher. GO MR. MAY!!! :)

Taggert's is great at helping the teens learn to drive with confidence and the instructors are very strict about them learning the rules of the road and how important it is to realize that
driving is a RESPONSIBILITY one must take
seriously. Both my son and my daughters were instructed by Michael and he was excellent.
My kids even started telling me things I needed to improve on after they finished their in car
driving lessons and passed their driving test on
the first try. Thanks Michael!!

my son took the class. i feel the 500. cost was a little pricey and 15hrs in one weekend after a week of school and sports i think is too congested for them to really pay attention and get everything they need out of it. i feel it should be spread over 4 or even 6 wks. very hard to try to schedule driving time and they dont offer any night time driving which is what teens need the most.
