I have been taking my dogs to Tailwaggers for more that 10 years and would never think of going anywhere else. Tamara the owner is an excellent groomer and it is obvious that she has much love for... every pet that comes into her shop. If you want to know your pet is being groomed by someone that knows what they're doing and has the best interest of your pet at heart, then go to Tailwaggers.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Tamara is good people, and probably a good animal if my dog could talk. I trust her judgement implicitly with my dog and she has never been wrong. My shepherd mix has issues that she has been able to... handle -- behavior AND grooming! As a small business owner myself, I know the challenges and she handles them with aplomb.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

The owner knows what she is doing and genuinely loves each pet that comes through her doors. Our dog loves Tailwaggers. Their prices are cheap and they do an excellent job of washing and trimming nails. The only thing I don't like is one of the assistants seems to hate his job, rarely makes eye contact with customers. Overall, EXCELLENT.

Tamara is great with my girls - I would never go anywhere else. She is an "animal person" and I know my dogs are in good hands while they are with her - also, they are okay going there (not the case with our old place), meaning there is no anxiety. She knows my dogs and is thorough with their grooming - my big mutt looks like a Westminster pup after she's done with her.

My first experience at Tailwaggers was great! My two yellow labradors have a lot less hair now and smell great. They also clipped nails and cleaned them up from head to bottom; all for a very reasonable price. In addition they obviously love animals and treated both them and me as a customer very well.

Tamara was very rude, would not listen when I tried to say how I wanted my two doggies groomed. Charged extra for "expedited service" so they would be ready at 1:00, then it was 2:30 before they were ready. My dogs are elderly and were incredibly thirsty when they got home - I don't think she gave them any water between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm. The dogs were well groomed, but it definitely wasn't worth all the hassle. I will not be going back.

When I first met Tamara I thought she was very nice. I told her I was home all day and could come pick my cat up anytime. I dropped the cat off at 8AM and when I picked him up at 4:30PM (which I thought was extremely late)Tamara and her staff told me about how my cat bit them, which I was quite surprised to learn, since I have had my cat groomed by numerous groomers for 5 years, and everyone told how well behaved he was. I don't know if it was due to the stinch of the urine in the store or due to all the dogs in one area where the groomers worked. If I had known that my cat was causing such problems I would have thought they would have called me, I could have rushed in without any problem. She charged me an extra $20 due to my cat bitting them, which on one hand I understand, but on the other hand, if I was a groomer, I would wear gloves or put something over the cats mouth. I just felt like I was scammed in some way or that they may have done something to my cat to may him react in such a manner. The total cost of my cat was $100, never again will I see Tamara and her crew.

I used them once and never again. I thought the owner told me to pick up my dog between 5 and 5:30. I got there at 5:20 and she charged me an extra $20 (or $1/min. for every min. I was late!) I told her I misunderstood and she said tough. I told her I'd never come back and she didn't care.

I have found that there are not many pet groomers willing to trim a cat! I was happy when I phoned Tailwaggers and Tamara told me she would be happy to trim my fussy cat. My cat MiMi is a long haired ragdoll and even though she is an indoor only cat, she has been miserable during this hot summer. She could no longer enjoy watching the birds from the screen porch without panting. I dropped MiMi off at 8 AM when they opened. I explained that my cat was very fussy and wouldn't even let the vet trim her nails. I wasn't sure if she would allow them to shave her. Tamara told me they would give it a try and see what she would allow. MiMi was ready to come home at 2PM. They were able to trim her nails and give her a cute "fur-doo". I was very impressed with the staff at Tailwaggers for doing such a wonderful job on a difficult cat client! MiMi has been happy and much cooler with her new softer, short coat. MiMi and I are both very pleased with the professionalism and care from the Tailwaggers staff!
