Very pleasant and helpful while in their showroom. Forget it after that. Rude, absolutely no help at all after the sale. Called to order more tile and they couldn't figure out what we needed using their own code from their invoice. Asked us who the manufacturer was. Seems like they should know. Avoid them.

This is my 3rd experience with Tanner and again a very happy one. Mike Tanner handled everything from beginning to end and made sure all work was done in a timely manner and to my expectations. The slow up was caused by Central Arizona Supply for bathroom fixtures and was in no way Tanners fault, I strongly advise to stay away from Central Arizona, very rude staff and very slow in fulfilling order. Tanner Tile guys are the best as is their carpentry work. Clean courteous workers who do their jobs with expertise. Very Very Happy with Tanner on 3 Major remodeling projects that included 3 bathrooms, kitchen, carpet ,patio. Kudo's Mike and all of Tanner

After a few successful tile purchases, I decided to let them bid on a carpet job. The estimator showed at the wrong house, then was rude and hung up after he figured out my personal lockbox. The next morning, my house was not locked properly and my only key was missing. After 5 calls, "Mike" said "What do you want me to do about it?" You never get respect from a poorly run family business. I really appreciated paying a locksmith 65$ to re key my house, and they actually told me they dont want my business. Go to home depot folks. At least they honor thier mistakes and misgivings. If you want to be treated like a liar and an idiot, Go to Tanner Supply. They have disrespect down to a science. Real mom and pop family love!

I was in there showroom and they never said hellor or asked to help, then I heard a woman yelling at her coworker. I left without ever talking to anyone, I called to let them know about my visit and that I thought i was terrible to hear a coworker yell at another, they couldnt care less when I was done telling her about my visit she said "are you done?" I said yes and I hoped they had so much business in this economy that they dont need customers! If this is how they treat their customers on the first visit I cant imagine how they treat after you give them a deposit.

When I asked about a project I was doing I was treated like an amateur and almost an idiot. Did not appreciate the attitude I was presented with and would actually pay more money for better service.

Don't know if it is because I am a woman, but I was not impressed at all with their service. Firstly, they told my contractor one price and then charged us another (which we are still trying to work out). Then, the salespeople were SO rude. They were condescending. I am helping my mother with a remodel and she said, of our first visit, "I felt like a doctor was talking to me," further explaining she felt that he was condescending and used lots of "big" words that we didn't understand. In general they were never much help. Don't go here!

Bought my tile here and the younger owner seemed helpful. They have a large inventory in stock. I used my contractor for the install. Spanish is the primary language there.

Since the previous review, Tanner has been more cooperative and has worked with us to resolve the problem with our tile. It appears the problem with the tile may be resolved. We had Tanner Materials re-tile our house. The workers were polite and courteous, many of the staff were as well. However, the owner is totally non-service oriented. The workers damaged our referigator and he refuses to pay for the damages. Instead, he has been condecending to my wife and I and will not even consider our claim. We would never use them again and hope anyone who considers using them use caution before entering into a contract with Tanner. The owner is negative and does not take responsibility for damages caused by his workers.

Yuck! This company hired what would appear to be illegals to come in and remove my existing ceramic tile. The workers had inadequate tools, NO safety equipment, no water, and no food. I had to call the office to demand eye protection for these 2 men because shards of ceramic were flying all over, including their faces. I also had to call them to bring the men food so they brought them each 2 hot dogs and thirst busterrs from Circle K. They were here early in the morning untiil it got dark. I was and still am disgusted by the whole situation. I will never spend another penny with this company.
