Our kitchen appliances are under an extended warranty with Lowe's. They outsource their maintenance to local companies. Tanstel is one. Their technician visited our house in mid-May and determined the oven needed a new part and to expect installation within 10 days to 2 weeks. We began calling to make sure it was on track at the end of the month when we had no call from them. Found out the parts have not been ordered, and we were told to expect a call back the next day from John the manager. Never received the call. Tried again, and once more told parts not ordered and John now out of the office and only he orders the parts. So we called Lowe's, and they called the company and confirmed they didn't order parts and instructed them to get this resolved. Lowe's was told and shared with us that John would call us the next day. 2 days later still no call. This company has no regard for customers, shows no sign of commitments, and gives no explanation for why they haven't ordered parts. Best advice to anyone considering using them, find someone else. This isn't the kind of company that can be trusted or relied upon. I suspect that the one positive review was planted by John!

Our Sharp LCD 40" TV went "Blank"-nothing. I called these folks among five or 10 others and they were the quickest to respond and make an appointment. The Technician " Tom" came on time, was neat and clean and well spoken, tweaked it and fixed the Boise sound system-cost-only $59.00 just as quoted. We are now very happy to brag on great folks at Tanstel.
