Taqueria is my go-to dinner spot. If your sans kids, put your name in at the bar and enjoy the awesome tacos. Otherwise, chill with a drink in line and once you put your order in, your food shows up super fast. Worth the wait!

This place is NOT family friendly. You have to wait in a crowded line for one person to take your order. I tried to sit at a table with my child while my husband ordered and a staff person made us leave the table because according to him: "people are waiting for inside tables and it is 95 degrees outside and no one wants to sit outside." We had just arrived so I thought maybe people were really standing there, with their food, waiting for tables...only they weren't. There were three other empty tables inside and everyone was going outside for a table. I thought perhaps that staff person had a mental issue—thinking people were there that really weren't, but then I saw another staff person make a young mother and her baby leave a table for the same reason. After we ordered we came back to the same inside table. I get it if people really are waiting for tables, but that was not the case. It is very loud, the food is just OK, and it's not worth the hassle. Taco-bouncers...not cool. We won't be back!

Bartender handling to go orders refused to take more than one order at a time. Four folks ahead of me had to order and receive their food before he would even take my order. Why didn't I just leave? I like the tacos.

The owners of Taqueria in Decatur are rude. Most unfriendly place. Several of my business partners have actually walked out due to rudeness. They would rather enforce their table policy and loss customers than provide customer service. They expect a new mother with a baby to hold the baby and the baby seat while waiting in line or waiting for friedns in line. They would not allow my friend to sit at a table with her baby. They told us it was not allowed. We spent $70.00 that day for lunch. That will be the last dollars I will spend there. There were plently of tables. I could understand if it was packed, but it was not. There was no need for this rudeness. They walk around staring at people so they will get up and leave in order to turn the table. No food is that good.

I've been here recently (the Decatur location). I'm going to echo other reviews, but here's my take: (1) the service set-up is not terribly different from what you get at Moe's or a place at a mall food court. The line for service during lunch time is unreasonable in my opinion. So, I would be very unlikely to go there again if there was a line. (2) The food is good -- an interesting menu and it is cooked well. But... overall, it's not much better than Moe's and the prices are similar enough. I think this place is a good neighborhood eatery, but it's not exactly the gem that many reviewers say...

Even when one gets to this restaurant early a line has formed at the door. The reason for this is the excellent, simple food at a reasonable price. The fish tacos and brisket are my favorite but most everything on the menu is good. Fresh ingredients and quick service.

I saw this place featured on the Food Network and now I know why... the food is fantastic, service is super quick and atmosphere is neat... there is always a line out the door (literally) but it is worth waiting for!

You will wait in line, and you can only sit where you are told, but everyone still goes back because of the food. Its different, so people put up with these things. Mild at heart bewhere, the food has a kick to it.

The food is great and the price is right. But the "we are too cool to have good service" thing gets old very fast. Just hire an extra couple of smiling faces during the lunch hour and you are all set.

I absolutely love this restaurant! There lines are usually long but they always move quickly and you don't have to wait very long. The service is quick and the food is incredible!

Atlanta is great for casual outdoor dining. Taqueria del Sol takes simple food and prepares it consistently well at a great value. You may have to stand in a long line, but if the weather is nice you won't mind.

Taqueria is the best restaurant in Decatur. After ordering at the counter when you first walk in, your order is ready so fast it will often beat you to your table. The tacos and cheese dip taste great and are relatively cheap. This place is so popular, however, that there is often a line out into the parking lot, but don't let that stop you from going. It's not a long wait and is totally worth it.

We go about once every two weeks. It is a great value and the food is excellent. They do have rules - don't try to get a table before you have ordered. It will mess up their seating system. Also, don't plan to hang out all night. They are busy and love for you to eat and leave. Still, not a problem for us! We eat, enjoy a margarita, and leave.
