Taylor Construction did really good work, and they're good windows. They did it really quickly and cleaned up their mess. I thought they did a good job. When I had trouble with my door, they came out to fix it and showed me what to do.
We replaced all of our windows, doors, and siding for insurance purposes on our home. Now, there is no air escaping and the house stays comfortable. Everything Taylor Construction did on our home was great! They fixed things around the house that was not a part of the project, but could have been dangerous or problematic later. The crew workers were great and they did a great job! I was very impressed with the work performed by Taylor Construction.
My experience with Taylor Construction has been great. I have used them several times to install new windows in our home. Peter, the salesperson, was very knowledgeable. The quality and efficiency of the work was exceptional.
I was very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the product. The salespeople were very knowledgeable about the product. The office personnel was able to find me the best rates available to me.
I have had quite a bit of work done over the years on our house, but have never gotten the kind of personalized attention that Craig (our salesman), offered us... We had him come out to give us some ideas on what we could do with our old guest bathroom, and he was very helpful in coming up with the best option for us... Will definitely keep Taylor in mind for any future work around the house... Great service and quality work at a reasonable price!

We had Taylor come out to look at updating our upstairs bathroom... He had a great eye for design and offered suggestions, but also listened to our needs! His professionalism and friendly demeanor was what impressed me the most. We were able to find an option that fit our budget with ease, so much so that we were able to get the rear-side gutters of the house done as well! Installation was timely and the workers were efficient... Will definitely call these guys up if we ever need more work done!

Gutter "guards" don't work -gutters clog up, and promised service never came. Before we knew how terrible they were, we also ordered windows that didn't significantly lower utility bills. Thank goodness I had old bills saved so that we could get a rebate. Customer (no)service was especially horrible! A leter to the President of the company didn't even get a response. To top it off THEY KEEP CALLING US to sell us more, and the salesman have NO idea of the problems. There is NO communication anywhere in this company.

Taylor Construction is slick. They made a very impressive presentation in my home for gutter installation. The sales guy even put me in the phone with his manager because they wanted to put us in front of others and get our gutters installed before we went on vacation in a few weeks. Manager even said he could get in done within 7 days. That didn't happen. Finally got a call from a guy who said he was the installer and wanted to put my gutters on while we were on vacation. I advised them that no way was I going to allow them to do that so we agreed on a Saturday for them to come out and install. A few minutes before they were to be on site, the installed called and said his crew had called off the job and that he would come Monday and install. Our Saturday was ruined because of putting plans on hold for the install. Monday morning rolls around and the installer calls and said that due to rain he couldn't install. I wouldn't expect them to install in the rain but there was no rain, sun was shining ironically. The guy is very unprofessional. I don't even know his name. He may have said it but I didn't catch it. Bottom line to me is that Taylor Construction has taken almost $2,000 as a deposit and I have no gutters. Michael Boerstler

udmba86, we appreciate your feedback and would like to address your concerns. Normally, we can install gutters within 7 days, however due to some unforeseen issues and the weather we were a little backed up. We should have done a better job in communicating that with you. We have also had a discussion with the installer regarding the rescheduling of the original Saturday installation. That also should not have happened and we have addressed it. We wish you had given us the opportunity to discuss this with you prior to posting this review. We hope you are enjoying your new gutters that were installed this Tuesday and if we can help you with anything else, please let us know.
Company sent very good salesman, but after that I struggled with crew and salesman that did not have crews phone number to call, so he told me to communicate my issues with the crew, what? Crew member had to wait at hospital to pick up his helper, but delayed arrival and no communication. Stayed until 9:00 p.m. at night on a Friday. Two other crew members were very unproffesional and told me they had to hurry up on my job, because they had another one to go to. Now they want to come on a Saturday with short notice of a call just now on a Saturday. Run away from this company, very unprofessional. The company came up with all kinds of excuses for not coming on time, they just wanted my money. I asked them not to rush my job, I am a disabled veteran struggling already and it feels as if they want to walk all over people like me. The one crew member smoked around my home and even put his cigarette out on my porch post. They really did not want me there to watch. I asked them to be careful to not damage my new roof, but the gentleman did not listen and continued to scatch off granules, when there was no need to put ladder on the roof in the fashion he did. Please do not make the mistake I did in hiring this company, they wasted my entire time on Friday, wanted to waste my Saturday so they could rush to finish the job as the head crew guy said he had to go to his brothers funeral on Saturday, I guess it was a short funeral, because today on Saturday he wants to finish.

I am replacing the bedroom windows in a rental property we own. It is on a busy street and I am trying to do everything I can to reduce the street noise. I read the reviews for several companies in Georgia and chose Taylor for one of the 3 I was going to get estimates from. When I called to set up the appointment I was told that my husband would have to be present during the visit to bid the job. I offered to give her the information so she could do a credit check on me, so they wouldn't waste their time coming out to speak with me if I couldn't afford to have the work done. But she refused. I have already remodeled the bathrooms, and put a new roof and gutters on the home--without my husband being present. I am looking forward to spending a lot of money on these new windows and then sending the invoice to Taylor Construction company so they can see the business they lost. We are not in the 50s anymore.(I can't rate the quality or the value because I didn't get that far. I gave them a one star for service, but the program demands ratings in each area.)

Flame1, we appreciate your feedback and would like to address your concerns. Yes, we do like to have all of the decision makers available when we give our free estimate. This allows our team to dedicate the time needed to each homeowner as we discuss what's available on the market today such as the quality and style of materials, color options and the overall scope of work for the project. While many homeowners appreciate the expertise and guidance our staff provides we also recognize that in some circumstances we are asked to return at a later date. We would look forward to providing you with our services. Feel free to contact us at any time.
I can only rate the "soft sell" as our salesperson called it. He arrived on time and spent a few minutes looking at the house and asking a lot of personal questions (school, kids, spouse, how we met, what i did in my spare time, etc). I wouldn't even say he did as close an inspection as his competitor. In setting up the call, they indicated that they needed both me and my spouse home. After 1/2 an hr, my wife still had not arrived - he was going to leave and stated that he would not continue unless she was there (it took several weeks to set up an appt. when I would be home). I assured him that she would be here in time for his demonstration and that we either continued or I would just go with the first contractor - at which point he agreed, but also indicated that he had another appt that afternoon. My wife and I met with him - where most of the pitch was against the other competitor and less about the service they would provide. Eventually, he came up with a price on the laptop, but wouldn't put it down in writing for us to review - although it was "good for 90 days". He indicated he knew he was more expensive than the competitor, but the competitor provided only provided "buck eighty-nine windows". I would share with you the salesperson's name, but he mumbled it in his introduction and never left a card, estimate, email, or anything. It was clear that he wanted a decision that day and I am sure we disappointed - for us a $6k purchase is significant.

We appreciated how friendly and thorough Cory Brumbelow was with his presentation of the products offered by Taylor Construction for redoing our gutter system. He spent time with us, showed us exactly what to expect during installation, and gave us an exact price for the job...no hidden costs.
