untrustworthy, liars, rip-off
I went in for an oil change in June. They recommended that I replace my serpentine drive belt. Knowing that it was a little early to do so, the owner double checked it - showing me where it was worn and then I went ahead. I took my car into the dealer yesterday and they showed me that the belt had not been replacednot sure if the owner was in on this bait and switchbut DO NOT GO HEREthey are untrustworthy! Go across the street to Jiffy Lube or anywhere else to get a quick oil change....

Bad Experience
Last week I went to this place for oil change,

1. Poor customer service, front desk was not paying attention on what I am asking.

2. My car's coolant was almost empty, but they didn't fill the coolant.

3. In the receipt, they mentioned tire pressure check, but they didn't.

Don't get attract to "Oil Change for 19.99" board.

I HAD TO SUE THEM!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!
I used Texaco Express Lube's $19.00 Oil Change Special a total of two times. The deal is great; but the second time I went to this place turned into a complete nightmare. The Oil change was fine. But apparently when they checked my fluids they "misplaced" my radiator cap. To make a long story short, my radiator cap blew off on the interstate after I left and my vehicle's engine quickly over-heated.They helped initially with a $750 repair on the engine, which were easily identifiable damaged parts (distribution cap & rotor, new plugs, etc), to a repair shop of my choice of course, but the buck stopped there. At least that's what they thought.I ended up suing them, and winning a judgment in Fulton County Magistrate Court for a total of $3,500.00 (three thousand five hundred dollars), which I can agree is fair. This was November of 2009.I have yet to be paid my judgment. My experience with Mr. Phil Mendell, the operations manager, was for the lack of a better word, horrendous. After he paid that first repair, grudgingly of course, then realized the damage they had done to my vehicle, his attitude literally turned into a viscous, nasty, "you ain't nobody", literally "F. you - sue me" type attitude. And that is exactly what I did.I proved that no one at the establishment at the time - even held an ASE Certification. They even had video - which the judge didn't even care to look at. Because the pictures I had clearly showed a radiator cap - which had no damage - that had been indeed misplaced, causing it to blow off and spew hot water and antifreeze all over the engine, thereby causing the engine to over-heat and cause significant internal as well as external damage.I plan to get my money - real soon - and publicize what happened, and hopefully put Mr. Terry Fowler out of business, and Mr. Phil Mendell and Mr. Steven Temple on the unemployment list.I would appreciate it if you helped me.Thanks in advance.- Scorned Consumer...

Ladies Definately Beware!!!!
Stay away from Texaco Express Lube Centers. I had a horrible experience at Store #1019 in Dunwoody, Ga. On Thursdays this particular location offers a Ladies Special on Oil Changes for 19.99. I took my car to this location to get my oil changed. While I was waiting on them to finish the Oil Change the technician came to get me. He advised me that my power steering fluid was low and that my Antifreeze was low and he was going to top them off. Since most oil change places top off your fluids for free, I felt this was ofcourse no different. Well was I wrong. Once I received my bill it was $174.11. I was charged for a Radiator Service (Antifreeze) for 69.99 as well as a Power Steering Flush for 69.99. Ofcourse I notified the manager on duty that this is not what I authorized. Not only did I not verbally authorize this but I signed nothing stating that I wanted these two services. At that point she proceeded to tell me that when I verbally told the technician to add the fluids that authorized him to do a Radiator Service along with a Power Steering Flush. If these are the standard operating procedures for Texaco Express Lube Centers, I would advise everyone to beware.

Stay Away!!!
Simple oil change on my new Honda Accord. After I drove away the check engine light and oil light came on, they could not figure it out. They threw away a part of my oil filter! My dealership said that it would have ruined the engine. They offered me a free oil change..I DON'T THINK SO!
