Active Release Therapy!!! I am an avid runner. I cant begin to describe the pain I have suffered through the years. Dr. Atencio is one of the few in Austin actually certified in ART. I have also seen him for other aches and ailments from chronic back pain, hip pain, rotator cuff and more. Fantastic comprehensive care clinic

When I go to a doctor, I want only the best to treat me, so I spend a lot time researching and making sure that I have found the very best in their respective fields. I'm writing this review to share my research in finding someone to treat my back problems so that I can once more attain my athletic goals. Dr. Atencio was located in Jollyville and from what I understand, moved to West 38th Street to be nearer the hospital so that he could better treat more serious back problems. He's now located in the Shoal Creek Building just off Mo-Pac near the Seton Medical Center. His office is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Dr. Atencio sees patients that require all kinds of chiropratic care. His area of expertise, one in which he excels far above the other doctors, is in the resolution of spinal disc problems. He has the latest state of the art medical equipment, years of the very best training and extensive experience in treating patients with serious back pain. Austin is fortunate to have him working here. If you have back pain or disc problems, this is the doctor to see.

If you have back pain, this is the place to go!!!!

This is the absolute best place to go if you have severe back pain or herniated discs! I had a herniated disc and was not able to find relief anywhere. Dr. Atencio helped me avoid surgery and my pain is gone. Very high tech, DRX machine. Not like the simple traction machines others offer. Check it out for yourself. My wife sees him as her chiropractor for her headaches and also thinks very highly of him. We have referred several friends to him. Very nice facility, great central location, friendly staff and excellent bedside manner. Great place to have in Austin. Take advantage of it.
