Cool shop, my partner and I just moved to suburban Boston so we need lots to fill our McMansion. We found an excellent sideboard and some mirrors. The owner is a super guy, knows his stuff and has a great eye for antiques. I check his web site everyday for new finds at: AntiqueRoadhouse.com

Really! Beautifully presented pieces, clean, well lit, nice music, and they didn't hard sell me! The owner doesn't follow u around and seemed aloof until I needed some help. Then he couldn't be nicer. I bought a nice Victorian dresser then a week later came back for a table I saw.

This is one great antique furniture store. I emailed Andrew last week about wanting to see a diningroom set on his web site. Turns out he was on vacation for Christmas week but Andrew interrupted his first week off in a year to meet us at the store. In fact, he arrived an hour early to turn on the heat and shovel the sidewalk just for us. Andrew is a nice guy. He was charming and helpful gave us our space, basically leaving us to roam the shop without pestering us like so many dealers do. His shop has a wonderful eclectic mix, he obviously likes his business and has fun doing it. We ended up buying something we hadn't even come for but that's the cool thing about going to places like Andrew's Antique Roadhouse, you never know what delights you'll find. We'll be returning often and watch the web site for new things

I've been a customer of Antique Roadhouse for over 2 years and I love the cool furniture and interesting items they have. Everytime I frequent the store there is something new and interesting to buy.

Wow! I've been in many antique stores throughout the South Shore and I think this is one of the best. I found quality items and a motivated sell. He even contacted a consigner to see if they would accept my offer. Thanks for making my day a fun one.

I used the Antique Roadhouse to consign several thousand dollars of antique and vintage furniture from my late mother's home. From Andrew's first visit thru to his very competent moving crew to the great prices my furniture sold for, The Antique Roadhouse was simply marvelous. Andrew was kind and considerate, he helped me as if I were an old friend. All the other dealers I called either talked trash to me or came in smelling like bar rooms. Needless to say, many of those other stores are no longer in business. . I love checking Andrew's web site and seeing how well he's doing. I even found out from the web site that several of Mom's pieces sold way out of state. And to think a couple of those other dealers told me her things weren't of much value, Andrew knew otherwise. True, he doesn't suffer fools with ease but so what, his heart is pure. Can those who speak ill of his business say they've created something and made it flourish when all about them is wilting? He's a good and honest man, works hard at keeping his store a nice place to visit, and richly deserves all the successes the good Lord shines down upon him..

I found this store a few months ago and love the selection of furniture. My wife and I have brought a few items and we are happy with our purchases. The prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the surrounding areas and Boston. Nice to see the owner has a website so we can check out his latest pieces from home first. Highly recommended.

I have bought antiques from the Antique Roadhouse and consigned several large pieces of furniture and art. Each time Andrew was thoroughly professional and a complete joy to deal with. His store is always beautifully decorated and has some really super pieces. It's a far cry from the junk stores and the junky dealers. DON'T LISTEN TO THE MALCONTENTS listen to a satisfied customer!

We live on Beacon Hill and can tell you that The Antique Roadhouse beats anything on Charles Street or in Cambridge. Andrew got us great prices for all our pieces, all without the attitude one gets from the shops in Boston. His men who came to pick up our antique furniture were polite , courteous and thoroughly professional. I was amazed that they spent more time carefully wrapping and securing the pieces out on the truck than they did actually moving it. These men obviously respected fine antiques as much as Andrew. Even though we are down sizing, I still adore browsing his web site to check out all the latest finds. And, be sure to visit his shop, he has a wacky sense of humor, you can tell by some of the wild things he has there. One never knows what Andrew will come up with or where he gets such wonderful pieces.

Please be careful if you consign an item to the Antique Roadhouse. Be sure to get your item back before the six month period on the contract is up. Despite continuing correspondence with Andrew I mistakenly assumed he would contact me before taking markdowns or taking possession of my piece. He did not and, when the piece was sold after the six month period, he kept all the money. Don't take anything for granted when dealing with him.

THEY KNOW THERE STUFF!: This is the best antique store in the Norwood/Dedham area. The pieces are beautifully displayed, of the highest quality and very reasonably priced. And, the fact that they are the only store around open after work makes it so much easier to shop. Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Mission, Federal, Art Deco, mahogany, oak, walnut, country pine...they've got it all!
