The Arena Barber Salon

Unfortunately, a friend of mine recommended me to this barbershop. As soon as I walked in, a few barbers looked me right in the face and didn't even greet me. In fact, they don't greet any of their customers. That was strike one. They are pricey and you have to get your hair washed before a cut. So a cut is $25. I wash and maintain my own hair. That was strike two. All of the barbers lack effective customer service skills. This is just your typical ghetto trash barbershop only dressed up to look like something. You can tell whoever owns this place, is clearly as uneducated as the barbers who work for him. I came into the shop about an hour before closing. The barber who cut my hair name was Jason. He was obviously in a hurry. Not only did he not cut my hair the way I wanted him too, but he didn’t shave my goatee as I requested. I was so over it. I just paid and never went back. In addition, while I was in the chair a customer who was waiting for a cut was upset and stormed out because the barbers were complaining over who would cut him because they all were trying to get out of the shop on time. This was strike three. Are you serious? Horrible. This is another black establishment that I will never support again.

I have been in Atlanta for over 10 years. I have been to many barber shops but not one like this one. I came here because I followed my barber Mykal to this shop. It is very clean, got tv's all over the place,I like they do not have any loud rap or hiphop music playing. My barber always work by appointment I never have to wait. I get my hair washed everytime I go. the cut cost is $20 which is above the norm of $10 or $15.. however they do wash and condition my hair. The service is very good. I have never had any issues here or seen anything unprofessional like that other reviewer.. But everyone has their own experience. I must say out of all the barber shops and barbers I have had, this shop is the best,and Mykal is awesome!!
