I have read all reviews, and it is important to note that there has been a change in ownership of this clinic. It is now Value Care, and it is a wonderful place for your feline children. Do not hesitate to go here.

Fantastic! The staff and vets are amazing. I brought my cat in with an emergency and the staff stayed late to help out. When it was apparent he needed specialized care Dr. Surber called GVS in Sandy Springs to let them know we were on our way with a critical case. She also called back a few days later to check on his progress and offered help with any aftercare we needed. I'm so glad the Cat Clinic is here. I've found too many vets who don't care about cats or don't know what they are doing because they see mostly dogs. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I've used CCNG for over three years and have very much enjoyed it. It was bought out recently and they have made some changes, keeping rescue cats out of the waiting room, for example. I enjoyed seeing and playing with them, but I can understand the concerns about health, although they wouldn't have been free to roam if they were a health issue. Jennifer is outstanding dealing with animals and they really care about them.

Is this a professional veterinarian office or a cat rescue clinic? Cats running around everywhere. The 2 main staff memembers do what seems to be all the work in this office. If this was a professional office it would not have rescue cats all over the place and would concentrate on providing customers with professional feline medical care. In addition it is not thoughtful to have all of these cats all over the clinic because it only takes one sick cat to spread viruses to others.

I took my kitten in for an exam and it was a bad experience from the moment I stepped in. While waiting to be called to the exam room (35 minutes after the appointment time) a cat was vomiting in the waiting area. I wish I had just skipped the appointment and walked out at that point. Cats were running around everywhere. The whole office was disorganized and unprofessional. When we finally got taken to the exam room the VET came in and barely said hello, she gave our kitten a 7 minute exam and the vet tech came in the room. We asked a question and the vet tech answered us, the VET (Dr. Pruett) just walked out did not say bye, do you have any other questions or anything. The only good thing about this place is Jennifer the vet tech.

OWNERSHIP UPDATE: The Cat Clinic has been in existence since 2007, and was purchased in April of 2011 by Georgia Veterinary Associates. Our philosophy is "best practice" medicine - cases are worked up thoroughly and always with comprehensive discussion with the owner. We beleive building a bond of trust and compassion with the pet owner is an integral part of outstanding care. We have accredited the practice with AAHA, The American Animal Hospital Association. We are happy to report all of the clinic cats have found loving homes.
I have been to The Cat Clinic of North Georgia on 2 occasions. I was not impressed nor will I be returning. Here are the reasons why: 1. The "clinic cats" that live there look like they need a good bath. They are all over the clinic and look like they are not healthy. I do not like them around my cat. Don't get me wrong, I have compassion for these cats that may be less fortunate than mine but not a good idea to have them running around all over the place when customers are bringing in their cats to prevent illness instead of potentially exposing them to a new illness. 2. The sectional sofa in the waiting area is covered in cat hairs. I know this is a cat clinic however this is really distasteful and gives a bad impression. 3. Dr. Pruett seemed unprofessional to me. She might be a well educated doctor but that does not equal a good doctor. 4. I question how sanitary this clinic is. When my cat was on the exam table they had placed a towel on the table that looked filthy. How do I know another cat was not on this towel prior to mine? 5. The lady who works the front desk and is the office manager tries to be nice but she is all about charging you fees, they will nickel and dime you for everything In closing my review I would like to say just because this is a cats only clinic does not mean your cat is getting top quality care. There are many Vets in the area find a more professional and sanitary clinic.

We took a chance when our cat went downhill quickly going to a clinic that was new to us. The clinic is of close proximity to our home. Having worked as a vet tech in the past and also now being in the health care field, I observed the treatment and care closely. We are very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and kindness displayed by all employees. Dr. Pruett is very committed to the animals and has proven to us to be very capable of caring for critically-ill felines. Her abilities are matched only by her eclectic choice in attire-don't be distracted. She definitely knows what she is doing and runs a stellar clinic.

For anyone looking where Dr Pruitt (and some of the techs as well) from the Cat Clinic of Roswell went, this is her new practice. Dr. Pruitt is an AMAZING vet. Ive never met a better one in all my life of cat ownership. She truly cares about your cat and gives the attention and care to your pet as if it were your human child. Oversight or missing something just isnt on the menu for her. However, like most cat specialty clinics, you WILL pay for this highly specialized care, as its priced a bit higher than most vets. But in an emergency or when the diagnosis is unclear---theres no one i would trust more than Dr. Pruitt and her staff of extremely competant techs.

Dr. Pruett is an excellent doctor and helped to diagnose an infection my cat has had for months and no one could figure it out. She has a great staff, a clean wonderful new clinic and offers top notch care. Well worth the drive!
