We tried so many different schools in the Perimeter/Marietta area and really began to feel helpless for our child. One school in particular was so overly crowded with children, and dirt was always everywhere. Immature and uncertified staff is such a problem in many daycare centers, and the list of problems and concerns goes on. Luckily, I never stopped looking for the pre-school and care that my daughter deserves. Out of frustration, I did another online search for a school near Buckhead and Sandy Springs and behold, The Chastain School popped up. The reviews were mostly positive and they offered low ratios and "prayer" in school...you know...the basics....So,I went for a tour of the school and then my husband went and we both knew right away that this was the place that we had been looking for. Thoughtful, clean and loving care for our child. Our daughter LOVES her teacher. It excites me that she will have this teacher for a number of years during her development. I could not ask for more. The teachers and the director(s) are mature, responsible, loving and certified. We are beyond pleased!

TCS is all about the children. After reading all the reviews, no one has claimed that their child was unhappy, which is the most important thing. I am a continuity of care teacher at TCS and I am committed to providing excellent care to my children. I consider them as part of my family. I have been with TCS since 2008 and it is my love for the children that keeps me here. I know the importance of finding a center with people you can trust with your little ones. TCS is such a place.

We have 2 children at The Chastain School and have been extremely pleased with the quality of care provided these past 3 1/2 years. The teachers and staff are amazing and are truly considered an extension of our family! I could not imagine sending my children elswehere- thanks TCS!!!

We've had two children at TCS over the past 4 1/2 years. We are completely satisfied. The teachers genuinely love our children. The staff and owners invest in development for the teachers. It shows in the academic performance of our children. Our pediatrician is blown away! There are comments about the staff on this site that I would say were not unfounded when they were written a few years ago. But the school has made the necessary staff changes to address the issues it faced. We're so glad we stuck it out with them while they grew into the great place they are today.

The Chastain School is a great school. We had our first son at two other schools before The Chastain School and we are so blessed to have found this wonderful place. We now have three kids and they all attend. The teachers are wonderful. So caring, affectionate, and sweet. The number of children in a room is low which initially attracted us to the school however they also have a continuity of care program that is wonderful. The administration is very caring and always available and willing to help when you need them. We have been very happy. I don't doubt for a minute that my kids are loved and well taken care of during the day while I'm at work! Not to mention all the amazing things they learn and the great friends they make. It has been a wonderful experience for us and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

The teachers, staff, director and owner of this school are top notch. The facility is clean, bright and has everything needed inside and outside. We have both of our sons enrolled (ages 5 mon & 3 yrs). Our oldest has been at TCS since he was 12 weeks old. The environment is great for kids of any age. The preschool has three classes tailored to every kind of student. My son loves to go to school and has learned so much academically, socially and emotionally. We are sad to be moving out of the area and can't find a school that even compares where we are going. We have been spoiled. I hope this review helps someone in our situation looking for a new school - TCS sets a high bar.

The Chastain School is by far the best school that we have ever been enrolled in! We moved our 3 year old there last November after having a very bad experience at another school in the area. My son was immediately taken in by the staff at the Chastain School and made to feel like part of the family. He adores his teachers and loves going to school every day. The communication between the teachers, the administrative staff, and the parents is exceptional and it truly makes you feel like you have a pulse on your child's day everyday. The facilities are beautiful and clean and we feel like everyone at the school really cares about our son. What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend The Chastain School to anyone looking for a school in this area!

My daughter started at TCS as a three month old baby. I loved the school the moment I walked in the door. The tuition is more than some of the other schools, but the quality of care my daughter receives is stellar. When you walk into the school you feel at home and Dana will give you a tour of the whole school and answer all of your questions and even some that you might have not thought of. My daughter's teachers are truly invested in her care and they do a great job keeping her care consistent between school and home. My daughter is happy to go to school each day and I have no reservations about recommending the school.

I wrote a review after having been at the school for about a month and gave 4 stars- after having been there now 8 months, I can up that to 5 stars. My children both love the school and their teachers are happy to see them each day and seem to know them well. They are always doing fun projects and activities, and the teachers often make a point to tell me specific stories about my kids' day. I am amazed at how much my kids are learning, and am told by parents whose kids have moved on to high-calibar elementary schools that their skills are very advanced after leaving the chastain school

I have been disappointed by many of the changes that have occurred since becoming a for-profit school. I personally believe the school is now coasting on the Peachtree Presbyterian reputation they attained while still a non-profit. Now that I discover my child's teachers are looking for another job, I am looking for another school. They are the only reason we have stuck it out this far. The turnover throughout the school is alarming. The amount of supplies the teachers must request from us, the parents, is also alarming since we pay so much in tuition. The management seems incredibly blase about everything except new student prospects. The school is beautiful along the halls, but the new classrooms are extremely stark. Some do not even have windows. The teachers in the older classrooms are the only ones that have busy, full shelves and decorations but the much larger nursery section classrooms do not. The baby rooms seem extremely small for the number of children in them. I am extremely discontented with the service at this school.

I love the teaching staff at TCS, but the administrative staff has a lot of room for improvement. I have seen the supervisors yell and scream at the teachers in front of the students and other parents. The owners seemed too busy to talk to me. Only when I wanted to withdraw my child did anyone listen to my complaints. I felt like my child was just another dollar sign to them.

Finding someone you truly trust to watch after your child is tough. You never know what you're going to get out there today. We looked at many places - alot of which seemed to just have an adult in the room to make sure no child got seriously injured - not the level of care we want for our son. The entire faculty at the Chastain School is warm, caring and extremely skilled with kids. They truly loves all the children and it shows in the attention, interaction, and superb quality of care they provide the children. Our son LOVES going there. Several parents brought their children from other day cares where the child dreaded going to every day. They've stated a night and day difference with the child at Chastain School - now they love it and are happy to come in every day. That makes us feel like we've made a great decision as parents.

Choosing the right place for infants is a tough decision but we're confident we made the right choice in The Chastain School! We have had our children in the school since they were 6 and 8 weeks old. Our overall experience has been outstanding. What makes it special and unique for little people is it's continuity of care. As for as we know The Chastain School is the only school in the Sandy Springs/Buckhead area to offer this approach to infant and toddler care. Our children were with the same teachers and children until they enrolled in the preschool. There were only 8 children within 6 months of each other in the classes so we knew they were getting the individualized care and attention we wanted.

Next month will mark our fourth year with a child in this program. When the doors at Peachtree closed, we were so lucky to be able to transition to The Chastain School. The committment of the staff and teachers was remarkable during a time of uncertainty. I speak from my heart when I say how much we love The Chastain School. Our two children are well adjusted and have thrived in this nurturing environment thanks to the teachers and the staff. We are always greeted with love and a smile, which allows us to be at work without any worries. THANK YOU TCS!!!
