We received a box of their chocolates from friends who came over for a Christmas party this weekend. Then we dropped in ourselves after church on Sunday. Wow, wow, wow (okay I sound like our doggy). The flavors, the presentation, the store, the people - all just amazing.

Even though I'm about 20 miles away, I've heard more about this chocolate shop than any other store between our area and Atlanta. After going in today, I can understand why. They have a great fudge selection. We got a full pound of several different flavors, all for under $14. They also have a boatload of other chocolates. I don't even know where to begin, they have so many. Even before I left, I had a white Russian and a bananas foster, and they were both two of the best chocolates I have ever tasted. Really looking forward to going back!

The best chocolates ever. I am a fan of Godiva chocolates who recently stumbled upon this store on a trip to Amicalola Falls. The Fudge is absolutely delectable and the truffles are heavenly...definitely the best chocolates I have had in a while. They are also so pretty, your almost don't want to eat them. I particularly love the way he blended the spicy habanero pepper with chocolate and made a delightful truffle.

I am not a "review-writing" type person. I own a company in Buckhead, and one of my associates suggested this place for client gifts we sent out for a recent promotion. But I am posting this review because I couldn't believe the overwhelmingly positive response we got from our clients. Never in 30 years of sending similar types of gifts have we had anyone call or email us with such glowing comments as they did about how wonderful they found the chocolates we sent from the Chocolaterie. My wife has since been there to bring home some for the two of us, and I can see why our customers were so complimentary. The chocolates are simply beautiful. I have read what others have written, but none of their words can really describe how artistic they are. Quite frankly, I thought that was the whole deal: pretty candy. That is not the whole deal at all. They wrote down the name of each chocolate on the box lid, and these things taste like whatever they are named. I have never had "fruit" chocolates, but theirs tasted like real fruit. The passion fruit and the key lime were exceptionally good. I won't waste any more time describing them except to say that they are sensational to look at and delicious to eat, and I recommend them highly.

The chocolate truffles here are in a word -- FANTASTIC. They are beautifully and artfully hand painted, with so many flavors we always try something new. Our wedding was last month, and the two-piece boxes they made were uber-fab! Perfect customer service and wonderfully delicious chocolates make us customers for life!

OMG!! this is an incredibly beautiful and elegant store store packed with shelf after shelf and table after table of chocolates in boxes, bars, bags, baskets -- you name it! Although they have name brands like Godiva and Neuhaus, it's the chocolates and truffles they actually make in the store that might be the most amazing we have ever seen or tasted. They don't even look edible at first because they're so colorful and pretty. But they really are chocolate with the most fantastic flavors, some we just never imagined could be in a chocolate. This store is totally in a class all by itself. Highly recommend it.

All I can say is that we've just never been to any store like this anywhere, let alone a CHOCOLATE store. It's just sort of in a category all its own. It's like being in an upscale chocolate gift store with all kinds of brands -- some we know like Godiva, but others we had never even heard of from other parts of the world. But then it's also like being in a fancy European chocolate shop, only we've not seen anything as colorful and beautiful as their chocolate truffles. We bought several bars and cookies along with some of the truffles -- you have to see and taste the truffles for yourself to believe them. They are like artwork that has gourmet desserts inside! (Try the mom's apple pie or the tiramisu and you'll see what I mean.) We'll be back often for ourselves and for gifts. I am elated to be the first one to put a review on Kudzu for this perfect little chocolate store.
