The Eye Gallery

This Eye Gallery location does have a nice selection of frames, but the service is horrendous. Despite paying $600 for glasses, I waited 4+ weeks for them to be ready with no explanation despite repeated calls and complaints; When I told Eye Gallery management that people who pay prices like that expect premium service, all I got were excuses. Just like any typical large corporation, they are not interested in retaining customers; they just move on the to next one; better to patronize a local Atlanta optometrist/optician who has a vested interest in seeing return business.

Big selection of quality sunglassesCosta del Mar, Oakley, Maui Jim, etc. Excellent service. This is my 2nd purchase, 3rd visit. As a migraine sufferer, I need a great-fitting pair of dark glasses. The people are very patient. They spend as much time with me as I need, explaining the difference in the types of lenses, even hanging out in the parking lot with me so I could test the glasses under real conditions. When I expressed concern over the fit of a pair of sunglasses, the man (don't remember his name) went into the lab and came back in a few minutes with a vastly improved fit on the glasses. I was sold. The prices are higher that you might pay at another store or online, but if you need a good fit and need to be able to test the glasses in sunlight, this is a great place to shop for sunglasses.

I went there today for the first time for my annual check and to get a pair of prescription sunglasses. I was nicely greeted and treated like a valued customer/patient. Dr. Mellom explained his findings and gave several suggestions and helpful tips. I asked many questions and got all of them answered. Overall I had very pleasant experience. Hope this helps when you make your decision.

see for yourself, checking review sites is dumb. everyone has their own personal experience. If your interested then just go. judge it for yourself.
