The staff was helful telling us about the fish. They went above and beyond when we missed store hours. They are no longer on Peachtree. They are on Roswell Rd. in Sandy Springs. Beware of the map on their web page, it will take you to the old address.

Porter is very knowlegable and will go indepth to help you. Prices on hardware is outrageous. Sometimes, Ive seen a 200% markup on lights, pumps, ect. Livestock is pretty good and there are sales for ARC members sometimes.

A friend of mine recommended we visit The Fish Store & More on our search for aquarium stands and misc equipment. It's been 15 years since I last had an aquarium, and I was very excited about firing a new one up. I drove to Buckhead with excitement only to be very disappointed. The store was very disorganized, shelves were empty and their selection of equipment was very limited. The big chain pet stores, sorry to say, put them to shame. We need a great aquarium store in Atlanta. This isn't it.

This store is definitely the best in Atlanta in terms of display aquariums and authenticity of themed natural aquatic environments. I would consider this Atlanta's "other aquarium".They have great knowlege, however, they don't exactly come running to help you or to answer the phone. The hours aren't the best either.

Everything they carry is amazing, their marine and freshwater tanks are all beautiful and they can help you design a great tank. They are also very knowledgeable on corals, plants, fish, testing kits, water enrichments... basically everything when it comes to fish! They can also special order fish for you. If you're serious about your tank you should go here.
