Whoever answers the phone at 770-591-2707 is VERY unhelpful...not to mention delayed in responding to phone calls, inquiries and following up. Her ability to answer questions directly and effectively is apparently non existent. She couldn't care less if I reserved a class or not...and when I decided to cancel my reservation, (because she wouldn't allow 14 of us to come at once...but she said 10 was ok?) she couldn't have sounded any less concerned. GROUPON BUYERS BEWARE... don't think you're getting such a bargain... what I got was a bunch of attitude in a condescending manner, from what I could gather, because I was not a full price paying customer?? They have very limited 2-hour classes offered (which is what the Groupon is for)... only to get you in there and upgrade for 10 more bucks to attend the 3 hour class? One can only wonder... Greedy. Ungrateful.... SNIPPY AND UNHELPFUL as someone else put it. *I also read a review "Comments from the Management" or something like that... and it sounds EXACTLY like the sarcasm and attitude I received. Don't be fooled. For the record... I had a GREAT experience here, one year ago, with a GROUP of friends (ironic...)... The instructor was great. We had fun. Would love to have done it again...but like I said... the girl who answers the phone there turned me off. Will never go back there nor will my 13 friends who were planning on attending. Got a GROUPON REFUND...and will head over to Sips and Strokes for my b-day instead.

I have been going here for a year and have always had an amazing experience every time. The instructors and owner are incredible. They take their time helping everyone with their individual painting and are very accommodating. It is a great place to go for a night of fun and relaxation. Bring snacks, drinks, and friends, throw in a little creativity, and you've got the recipe for a great time!

The Funky Paintbrush was the worse experience I've ever had as a group outing. The instructors were rude, snobby, and clearly unknowledgeable. They were annoyed when I asked how to paint and their "instruction" was "now paint a tree there" or "just copy the picture" then they walked away. When I asked a question they gave one word replies or ignored them all together. It got even worse as they whispered things to each other glancing over and laughing at my painting. I was horrified at how I was being treated and felt awful. I just wanted it over, but tried to finish the picture. I needed more paint and the kicker came when one instructor told the other to ignore me. The people I was with that heard them were shocked. I had enough and walked out. I will never return and have told everybody I know what a horrible experience I had with The Funky Paintbrush in Woodstock.

This is a great local place to hang out with your friends and be creative! They instruct you step by step while you sip on your home brought drink of choice.
