I went to this hotel thinking I'd get a piece of Atlanta history and maybe sip a mimosa on the terrace. What we got was construction everywhere, no apologies for the inconvenciences it caused and laziness and attitudes from everyone (except Ricardo in the dining room). He had to go ask for our B&B breakfast tickets because the front desk people forgot. They also knew nothing about the history of the hotel and got the date of previous construction wrong. (We read the correct date in a book in the room). Rooms btw, are quaint but not impressive at all. Furniture is dated and damaged and phones did not work. Maybe it'll be better in two years when construction is over. :(

    Nice Piece of History

What a wonderful piece of old Atlanta history! A beautiful hotel with some of the friendliest people I've met in Atlanta. Room was huge and clean and quiet and reasonably comfy. Can't beat the location, smack dab in the middle of up-town. Directly across the street is the famous Fox Theater - like a 2-for-1 historical treat. Great place to stay if you pocketbook can take it! However, while The Savoy has the frou-frou reputation - skip it. I've had equal if not better food in some of the other area restuarants.

Great location and staff was nice, but the rooms need a lot of help. We had to change rooms 3 times due to the smokey smell and one room had missing funiture. Furniture is damaged and dated TV's are old too. The price should reflect the dated rooms.

We stayed here for the weekend of our 10th anniversary. It was very nice. Nice view from our suite. Location is great. Valet was really nice but didnt see the sign that is was $25.00 each time we valet parked! I would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel on my wedding nice in a beautiful suite overlooking Peachtree Street. It's a wonderful place to stay after seeing a show across the street at the Fox!

The Georgian Terrace was previously a luxury apartment building so the rooms are large and have stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer however the room I stayed in was a little run down.

Love that vintage feel. The actual rooms seem a little dated and could use an upgrade, but it was nice and surprisingly reasonable. Love the location in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Valet is good. Desk service is okay. Enjoy.
