More than just daycare, The Goddard School located in Newtown offers a child care program that nurtures a lifelong love of learning by providing dedicated teachers in a private preschool setting.
I could not be happier with the care and education that my six month old son receives at The Goddard School in Newtown, Pa. He smiles and giggles as soon as we walk through the door and sees his teachers smiling faces. It is quite difficult to have to leave him but the faculty at the school really puts my mind at ease. There is no doubt in my mind that he is well taken care of throughout the day and loved. I am kept very well informed, as the school sends both me photos and videos of things he does during his school day. Each afternoon we receive a detailed report outlining each activity my son did. It also includes all of the pertinent information about his diaper changes, naps and feedings. It was important for us to choose a facility that was more than just a daycare. The education of our son is very important to us and at Goddard they start preparing lesson plans in the Infant classroom. They are exposing him to Spanish, ASL, music from other cultures, encouraging him to enjoy tummy time and so much more. I highly recommend The Goddard School to any family in the area. I am so thrilled to be part of the Goddard family!

My kids routinely come home with projects in hand and smiles on their faces. It is a great facility with a gifted, caring staff and an atmosphere that submerses the children in all aspects of learning. They even start learning sign language when they are still infants. Kids are encouraged to explore and engage others in group activities and play. The entire staff is very approachable and accommodating, and readily available to answer questions and address specific needs and concerns. In all the years I have taken my kids there, I've never had to give a second thought as to their well being - they love it there and the staff loves them right back. The first time I heard my kids explain something they learned or demonstrated applied knowledge without being asked or prompted was a great feeling - and it made a believer out me. It has been worth every penny, I would do it all over again.
