My experience with these guys has been gut wrenching, Their a/c guy came out to my house about 6 weeks ago. I fell for the guy offering me the 50% off tune up. All this guy wanted to do is sell me stuff I did not need, special oil, touch screen thermostat, compressor booster and about 5 other things, Come to find out this guy really screwed my unit up I had another A/C company come out and fix my unit. I was told the last guy ( HOME DEPOT) who worked on it really caused some problems. The other company was able to SHOW me what they did wrong. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR A/C SERVICE

I bought a replacement patio door at Home Depot, which was my first mistake. I purchased the same sized door that I now have. All the signs hanging on the display doors in the store read $ 399.99 installation. I confirmed the install price when I set up the installer appointment with Home Depots installer, JAX Remodeling. The guy came out to take measurements before the installation and said it was a very basic and easy install. A week later I get a call from the mill works guy that I bought it from at Home Depot telling me the price is in for the installation. $ 699.00 !! After I calmed down I asked why so much "well there's a 42.00 charge for cutting a grove in the floor if needed and extra lumber for framing" I asked why do I need this wood when I paid extra to have it included with the door frame. Here is what I was told "they order extra items just in case they may need it, that way they don't have to stop and run to the store, you can bring back anything they don't use" I HAVE TO BRING IT BACK, and this was only a portion of the list of charges. I called a different remodeling company out of the phone book and happen to talk to a man that was an ex rep for the door company that I bought and I told them what I needed and they told me very easy and basic and will not exceed $ 300.00. So unless you have money to burn or you're just a complete idiot go ahead and use them, everyone else needs to send a message to Home Depot and tell them THANK GOD FOR LOWES.

This has to be one of the top Home Depots in the country, for customer service. I have yet to have a bad experience in this store. The people who work here are obviously happy with there jobs because all are friendly and helpful people!
