Ladies Dinner Club of Atlanta - 01/28/2011. Place is hard to find; row of businesses right beside MARTA; is on Sycamore but the actual drivable street ends in front of MARTA. Get ready to circle and/or pay to park. The bar offerings are extensive, BUT they don't do flavored liquor, i.e. coconut rum, etc. I got the red sangria which was okay but I like sweet wine (don't judge me). I should have looked at the board before I ordered a drink because their house specials looked tasty. Our server Daniel, a pleasure. Absolutely delicious food is prepared here with thought, care and love. Here is a rundown: 1) Bacon wrapped dates, 2) Eggplant Fries, and 3) Pork Cheek Tacos were all perfection and I don't like dates or eggplant. 4) Braised Veal Shank Ravioli, 5) Baked Calamari (bread dip-able yummy tomato sauce), 6) BBQ Octopus (the pork and potatoes on this plate were fabulous) and 7) Roasted pork tenderloin pate were all great. 8) Sausage 3-ways, 9) Rice dish with peas/ham, 10) Wild Boar meatballs were good, 11) Spanish Tortoloni was nice but very heavy cheese flavors. The 12) The Mac 'n' Cheese dish was really good and very rich. 13) Mushroom Flatbread and 14) Salmon Flatbread (citrus crème fraiche was flawless) were wonderful . I didn't try the 15) cheese plate, but was told it was great. We had 16) Churros for dessert; chocolate sauce is a lush bittersweet; don't expect Hershey's syrup. Is IP Foodie worthy? Absolutely!

Like most of the reviewers here, I have nothing but praise for the food and drink at this place. The food was simply fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the sangria and the pork cheek tacos. Excellent. The big drawback is the unfriendly attitude this place puts off: -- Annoying, childish rules written on the wall near the bar. Cliche alert! -- The waiter spent more time complimenting the restaurant and extolling the food's provenance than he did serving us. It was annoying! For example, he bragged about the acorn content of the pig's diet, etc. If the food is special, it will shine through -- I don't need to be reminded every time the waiter opens his mouth. The waiter also spent a good deal of time praising the chef and his approach to food. There were three of us dining and we laughed so hard at how odd our waiter was and how he was presumably trained with these boastful talking points.

My boyfriend and I just had dinner at the Iberian Pig and had a very nice experience! We tried multiple items on the menue and loved all of them including the wine. We eat out a lot and would definately recomend this restaurant. Very good service!
