The Junkmans Daughter

I've made several visits to tJD since my arrival to this city 9 months ago, and every experience has been positive overall. I don't know what the place was like "before," so any notion of a decline is lost on meYes, there is plenty of mass-produced junk and typical Hot Topic-esqe clothing (like Goth,bondage,and fetish styles..but a lot of great Bohemian, Vintage, and hipster-ish clothes, too.
..A large selection overall with plenty of unique items, toys, whosits and whatsits galore!
..New clothing and shoes are pretty high-priced, but worth it in terms of quality. Check clearance racks for good deals!
.All the employees I've met are helpful and friendly, but NOT pushy or invasive--Ask and You shall receive. tJD has something for almost ANYbody, so do Yourself a favour and visit this store. It's worth it.

Once was a bohemian-type of place but now has too many "packaged, mass produced" items. Vintage items are limited and over-priced.

This is a fun type of store for teenagers. I wouldn't go there on my own but it's fun for teenagers. You can make an afternoon of shopping around little five points.

It's in Little 5 Points. Most of the items are new, kitschy imports but there are some vintage and other used clothing items as well. They have a selection of sexy "cheap" clothes you might see in an adults only store, a head shop (I mean a "tobacco" accessories shop) in the back, costumes and Halloween makeup, t-shirts, incense, gifts, humorous political items and much more. Prices are rather high for the relatively low quality of most of the merchandise - there are some items that are better quality. It's worth a trip just to experience this unusual place.

This is one my favorite places to roam around for hours. Great shop for teens and college age students. Where else can I find a great vintage houndstooth mini dress and an Eistein action figure? My little sister finds it a little scary because of the costume display with wigs and masks towards the back right, but these are easily avoided if an immediate left is taken when the store is entered. Plus this where the cutesy, though sometimes cheeky, toys are hidden away. Though sometimes hard to manuever in, I love the Junkman's Daughter and will be returning for a very long time.
