The Pooch Professor

A few months ago, my fiance and I got our first doga schnoodlepoo that is our pride and joy. In preparation for his arrival, we did a lot of research regarding the proper training that would make him a happy, well-adjusted dog. The Pooch Professor has been an integral part of this process. Before our dog was old enough to attend class, she came to our house to help us with some early training isues, and then we attended her puppy kindergarten a few months later. We have nothing but positive things to say about both experiences. She knows what she is talking about, and what she says works.

The Pooch Professor is a true professional: polite, couteous, punctual, knowledgeable, and fairly-priced. She is also very thorough--you'll get more than you pay for and plenty of follow-up service. Her classes should cost a lot more, frankly. Taught at the Atlanta Humane Society, they are informative and fun and my dogs both learned a lot (and so did I). She has a knack with adopted dogs and small breeds, too, and what I liked best about her is that she is not beholden to only one method or tool (like some other trainers I tried, who only wanted to use treats, even though my dogs weren't into food that much). She uses what works best for you and your dog, and helps you the whole way.

When I first meet Mailey, I knew I had made an excellent choice in a trainer! She genuinely loves animals and I could see that the minute she met my dog, Coco. She also knows dog owners which is key because when it comes down to it, if I wasn't trained on how to handle Coco our success with the training would of been diminished. Mailey has really helped me and has been generous with her time in talking to me about training isssues. Coco also loves here which is a good thing! I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a well behaved pet.

We've been super-pleased with the training provided. It's the positive approach to changing dog behavior and it works!
