The San Antonio House

Great location, all I can say. I payed top dollar for a getaway anticipating rest and relaxation. During my stay, San Antonio House continuously interupted my rest with persistent phone calls. Even worse the calls were to inform me of additional erroneous charges (unauthorized by me) added to my credit card. Wow, I am so FURIOUS!\r\rI booked my reservation after finding their site one of carmel's sites for hotels (stayincarmel. org) which indicates the b & b was ""pet friendly"". Upon booking, we even informed our intent to bring our tiny 3 pound dog. After one day of stay (after discussing our dog with the staff) we began receiving continuous calls of additional charges because ""dogs are not allowed"". \r\rAfter kindly discussing the matter with several staff members, of our foiled vacation, no resolution had been found. The manager actually told us ""they had to call corporate"".\r\rI still have not been called by ""corporate."" If you are looking for an enjoyable stay in a lovely town, LOOK ELSEWHERE! I thought B&B ' s were run out of a home by mom and pop. You will not find this here. Don't give your hard earned dollars to these theives!
