I am proud to have been a grad of Sawyer school medical assistant program. The school prepared me with clinical work and the office side of the medical world. Some people go to sawyer with attitudes and act like everything should be handed to them just cause they shown up. Well I finished my externship and they gave me a good recommendation. It took me a few weeks but I got hired at a private dr.'s office. I work their now and it is a dream because I never thought I'd be a professional really doing medical assisting. Right now, I think of all the hard classes and everything that the teachers expect of you. If people just want to show up for class late and act all ghetto then they won't make anything out of their life or education. People can put the school down. But the ones who do usually the ones who acted up or were lazy. I worked hard, my kids saw me work hard, I finished the program, graduated and got a job. Enuff said!
