horrible place with awful staff & stale food, 5/10/2012

Unbelievably rude staff! If u complain about something, they totally dont care making rude very unprofessional comments. If ur 5 minutes late they wont sell you a ticket unless someone else is... already in there as they dont want to pay 4 heating the room apparently.Employees was so rude it ruined the first 1/4th of the movie for me as I could not get their rudeness out of my mind. They seem to have no costumer service skills. This is possibly the worst thing about this theater. Its often freezing in here I mean colder than any theater Ive ever been in. Always have to wear a coat & then still cold. So r the people I go w/so I know it is not just me. I guess 2 save $Problems with pitch black theatre. Not only do they not show previews they turn the movie off the 2nd the credits start. Sometimes they instantly shut off all and I mean ALL the lights even the floor lights- before you can grab ur coat (if you love the cold & not wearing it), they shut off all lights including any aisle lights/side lights. Its a definite safety hazard & u keep hitting things trying to walk in the pitch black. The person w/me tripped & got hurt-was in pain all the way home. They also often shut off all lights in the hall even when you are in them so one can barely see to get out of the entire theater They want you out of there the second the movie ends. Lights are always on which is very distracting but off totally the second the movie ends. Often the movies are out of focus or keep shutting down or you get the half screens w/the bottom at the top. Sound has been garbled.Once a movie, I went to shut down at least 5 times. Noone ever offered us any refund-they hold onto every $ no matter how bad your experience.Very filthy bathrooms often full of urine and toilet paper on the floor and feces smeared around at times as others have shared. Once someone I went with to movie did have their car broken into as this is apparently a high crime area.. Other friends will not go as they heard of simi

The Screens, 8/26/2011

I live in the Continent. Unfortunately, my experience\rat The Screens movie theater was NOT good. In two\rwords...IT'S FILTHY !!! There's food and trash on\rthe floor and the staff is not friendly.... If the health\rdepartment ever inspected this place, they'd close\rthem down. I wonder why the owners of the theater\rdon't hire competent people to run the place. I doubt if\ranyone goes there for the second time.

the staff ruins the movie experience

hate this place due to the employees repeated problems with staff forced us back to cinemark on bethel even though I find this theatre more comfortable and has bigger theatres. Also had problems at their sister theater on brice road (same ownership) went there 3 times at last showings (9 pm ones) and doors were locked even though we were early..they did not even bother to open. I am sure many people were upset movie was not on and theatre closed at time they advertised it open. Also read other bad reviews on this theater. When finally caught them open, they said they do not show movies advertised if business is slow. even at the 7 movies. (they get around their false advertising by printing a disclaimer saying they reserve right to close at any time for any reasonthe theaters were very light up throughout the movie and little to no darkness which caused distractions as other patrons actions were so visablethe theaters were dirty, but the attendants were very nice unlike their north location the screenspro of the screens at the continent1 price2 nice big theaters3 very cheap snacks on Wednesday4 not much business so theater not crowded5 have pamphlets with movie descriptions6 can put your own butter on popcorncons1 rude management who are not friendly at all2 never let you go in to see movie if you are over 3 minutes late despite fact movie has not even started due to previews--will not start the movie if noone is in there already as they lose money. If you are early, they will sell tickets as they do not know yet if others ill come but once they know, they ill never let you in or start the movie..the old management used to start movie even if 15 minutes late as they cared about their loyal costumers..this one seems to just be in it for money. To not let you in for being 3 to 5 minutes late is ridiculous3 the lights do not dim during movies and much lighter than most theaters during movies4 there have been thefts in the parking lot5 for months the bathroom in the theate

Really Bad Experience

I decided to visit The Screens for the first time with my daughter and two of her friends. My first complaint is if you are paying by credit card you HAVE to spend at least $10.00, so I had to buy something extra just for them to take my credit card. (which a small pop is $3.50)Second, we went to the bathrooms. They reeked so badly of urine that one of the girls thought she was going to get sick. They were really bad. Gross. Then we made our way to the movie itself. There was no lights on in the theater and we were the only ones there. So I went and asked for them to turn on the lights. Which the worker never did. The picture was poor quality and there was NO HEAT!It was freezing. I will never again go to this theater ever again.

Under Bad Management

I was refused a refund for my bad experience, which included bad food and poor sound and picture quality.

The Screens is a great movie theater to attend. Not only are their prices in check but the movies are in high quality. I can't wait to go to the screens again!
