The guy came nice and smiley, did a detailed presentation of his product, sent his estimate to us. One week after he is asking us to pay for the materials he ordered for the job. He thought he did a good presentation and that we would take him for the job. I've never seen anyone ordering materials before a signed contract (We didn't even have any oral agreement...) We contacted another siding company, the siding doctor is asking us to buy his materials and then charge a fee to instruct the other siding company on how to install the nichiha material. The siding doctor is a representative of nichiha so when placing his product on a job site he should do it for free. We are disappointed, beware of his commercial practices.

It is not The Siding Doctor's practice to order material before receiving a signed contract. 99.9% of the time we deal directly with the homeowner. This situation was quite different. We were working with the architect, not the homeowner. The architect instructed us to order materials for the job. These were "special order" materials. No one paid us any money up front. When we delivered the materials we were contacted by the homeowner stating they were not ready to start the job. There was obviously miscommunication between the architect and homeowner and we were in the middle. We were stuck with "special order" materials and no home to install them on. The homeowner said they were going to get other siding quotes. The architect requested we sell him the special order materials at wholesale prices and teach his crew how to install siding. The crew they hired had no experience installing siding much less special siding. We only use our crews who have years of experience installing siding on each job we do. This job required a high degree of specialty which untrained crews should not attempt. We are not a Nichiha manufacturer. We do not place products on a job site for free because we sell Nichiha. We are a company that sells and installs Nichiha siding. The Siding Doctor lost a considerable amount of time and money on this job. There was obviously a lack of communication between the homeowner and architect and it was a hard lesson for us to learn but we never sacrifice quality on any of our jobs nor will we ever.
Don't be fooled upon first meeting the siding doctor. He comes across as nice and knowledgeable, but he is horrible. The job was plagued with issues that were only resolved, because I personally called different companies. Their work failed inspection and required us to spend hours dealing with the city. He had city violations. When I tried to discuss these issues with him, the owner HUNG UP on me TWICE! The work was mediocre and took much longer than he promised. The painter took multiple weeks to come to our house and then it was only because of our nagging and insisting that the job get finished. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Stay away and find a better company!

The Siding Doctor has never had a city, state or municipality violation in all the years we have been in business. We have never been fined, sanctioned or written up by any city, state or municipality on any job we have ever run. In fact, we are often looked to as the standard in our industry. It is a shame that people hide in anonymity to damage our reputation. It is often done by our competitors in the marketplace because they can't compete with our quality of work or pricing. Once in a while, we find an occasional homeowner use the internet as a means of extortion to get free work that wasn't included in their contract because they chose to forgo certain work. None of our customers will ever claim that their siding job looks bad. We have experienced crews, 99% customer satisfaction rate and a 20 year track record to prove we have what it takes to be a leader in the industry.
My wife and i had a lot of qoutes for the work on our 25 year old home. Over the last 5 years we have done the inside but the out side was way behind. As soon as we met Jeff, we knew we were in good hands. We had new siding, paint, windows and gutters installed. Allthough there were some hiccups along the way, they were handled in a timely and professional manner. The teams for the jobs were pleasant and did very nice work. Our house is now the jewel of the neighborhood. Thank you Jeff and all the Siding DR. team!!!

They delivered what was promised for the price quoted. They workers were professional and while they were a couple of mishaps, they informed us immediately of the issue and how they were fixing it. The project manager, Paul Barron, kept us informed and was easy to reach. He responded quickly to our questions.

We had old Georgia Pacific siding that needed to be replaced. We purchased the Nichiha and could not be more pleased. We loved the free designer who helped with color choices. What really amazed us was how professional the instillation crew was and how clean they kept our property during the whole process. Thank you Siding Doctor for not only installing a great product but for making the whole process a pleasure!

My wife and I were very pleased with the job done by The Siding Doctor. From the pre job consulting to the final layer of paint they did a fine job. There were a few problems but this company addressed each one to our satisfaction.

The siding I picked for my house wasn't a stock item and took a while to arrive. But when it was here Paul Barron of the Siding Doctor had a crew right on the job. The old siding removed, new house wrap and the new siding up in less than 4 days. A few days later Paul had the painter there. The house was pressure washed, caulked and painted in two days. IT LOOKS GREAT! I couldn't be more pleased, and what a transformation it made to the appearance of my home. I highly recommend Paul Barron and the Siding Doctor!

Although I give them above average rating, The initial quality of workmanship of the siding crew is below par. The company's service to make things right is above average and the products are excellent. I had windows and siding done and the window crew was excellent no problems. The communication between crews and project manager was lacking and quality control by the project manager did not exsist.The siding crew damaged the sheathing pulled phone and cable wiring through the sheathing and failed to reinstall cable and phone boxes and wiring correctly. My shurbs were heavily damaged. I had to have them come out at least four times to correct workmanship issues. I finally stopped calling I got tired of finding things wrong and having them come out to do things twice. I would not reccommend their services to anyone.

We recently had the old Georgia Pacific siding replaced. Our home is approximately 27 years old and was suffering from the effects of age related deterioration, in spite of it being painted and maintained. During the process of deciding who and what would be done to the house I contacted several companies and look a numerous products. We looked at patching and painting , coatings, and different types of siding. For long term durability and warranty we decided on going with Nichiha fiber cement product installed by "The Siding Doctor". From the quote process on I found Jeff Shea and his team to be courteous and professional. The Nichiha product and warranty is in my opinion superior to any other product currently out there. I have a life of structure warranty for the product from Nichiha and the same for labor from the Siding Doctor. And the price that Jeff quoted was the lowest of the ones received. The teams that installed the new siding, gutters, and shutters were fast, professional, and cleaned up daily. They did what they said they would with no hidden charges. I would highly recommend "The Siding Doctor"

I will NEVER trust this company again and definitely suggest avoiding them. My experience was horrible! It's obvious why they filed for bankruptcy - they don't run a good business! There are too many choices in Atlanta to have to deal with a company like this!!!

Yes sir. You did trust us and we came through for you. You had a minor gutter issue after your job was completed and we came out and fixed it. We also gave you a $500.00 credit on your account towards a chimney pan which costs $250.00. We, unlike other companies in this industry, took the high road and re-organized our debt instead of folding and opening up under another name. We stayed in business for all of the great customers we have had over the years. Our workmanship warranty is for ten years and all of the products we have chosen to sell have excellent warranties as well. If we were not in business who would service any window or siding warranty issues? Please call us if there is ever any problem in the future. We are always happy to help.
I hate to write those "gushing" reviews that sound like they couldn't possibly be real, but in this case I have no choice. The Siding Doctor just completed a comprehensive exterior remodel on my home and it is simply beautiful. We had Nichiha lap and shake shingle siding installed along with Owens Corning stone. The Siding Doctor also built a new roof over our front door and tore down and rebuilt our screened porch and deck. The first word that comes to mind for me is "amazing". The quality of the work and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations, the crews were very polite, worked extremely hard, and cleaned up well after themselves. Our neighbors, friends, and family are absolutely blown away by the end results. Jeff is a delight to work with, and very soon into the process I realized that he wanted the work done to the quality level he would expect on his own home. I can be a "bit" of a control freak when it comes to these situations, but I trusted Jeff and it more than paid off in the end. Choose The Siding Doctor and you will NOT regret it! Update: Two years later and our house still looks great and is the talk of the neighborhood. Thanks Jeff!

Work crew was incompetant, sided over dryer vent, threw away downspouts, ripped out phone cord, unplugged cable, failed to fasten siding to house. Proj Mgr Paul was unapolgetic, and never heard from Jeff,the CEO, who sold me the job. Don't bother with these people.Job was supposed to take 2 weeks, took 5.

The Siding Doctor has high standards for all of our crews. We follow all manufacturer's specifications so that our customers may take comfort in knowing that their warranty is intact because of our installers following procedures. In saying that, we are not saying that a crew doesn't occasionally leave something unplugged, etc., but the onsite crew chief, along with the Project Manager, will always identify and rectify the issue. You will agree, that every time you called Paul he came out and worked with you and the crew chief to resolve the problem. Paul is very quiet spoken, but he resolves issues quickly. Jeff, is not as quiet, but he has a passion for remodeling and always does a very thorough estimate. Before he left your home, you knew exactly what you were paying for and there were no "oh no, I forgot" moments that would have cost you additional money that you may not have budgeted. He also made sure to leave you his business card with both his office and cell phone numbers in case you needed him. He is always available except when he is on an appointment or in a meeting. We are all sincerely sorry that you are unhappy with The Siding Doctor. We wanted you to be happy from beginning to end. Unfortunately, we failed you in a few instances. Yet, now that your house is completed, we know you enjoy pulling into your driveway each night and seeing the beautiful home you imagined. If in the future, if you have any complaints, please call our office and we will be glad to help you. We like to keep the lines of communication open.
