Dr. Streithof bad attitude..
Prices high for the clinic overall, $75 per doc visit regular hours. Front desk staff are great which rated them the 3 stars each above.
My review is just on one vet, Dr. Streithof. She walked in and immediately had a very bad demeanor. She didn't listen to me about my pet- a major no-no, acted condescending on a subject she was obviously not versed in at all-although other vets have been in the past-she was in there all of 2 minutes and still charged the $75 and didn't offer any treatment plan for the pet.
I will never take my pets there again just on fee and principle alone, but if I had to I would never allow this vet in the same room as my pets.

True Professionals!
We recently visited Village Vets for our second time in the past couple months - this time in an emergency situation. Our dog had an intestinal blockage and was seriously ill. We brought him in around 5PM, and the staff was able to quickly get him diagnosed and prepped for emergency surgery. Dr Doss clearly explained our options and was very good about communicating with us. The procedure went as well as possible and definitely saved our dog's life. We would definitely use Village Vets again, without hesitation and so should you. They really did help us thru a tremendously stressful situation with concern and compassion. Thank you Dr Doss and the staff at Village Vets for taking such good care of Ben!

Great atomosphere when you are stressed!
I would recommend the folks here because when you have an emergency with your pet, you are stressed. They were calm, reassuring and they were right. Everything was fine. Thank you for your service.

Don't Use Their Emergency Room! They Misdiagnose!
They give out wrong diagnoses frequently!!!
I took my 14 year old dog into Village Vets Emergency on a Sunday, because he was in pain, couldn't walk and was short of breath. The vet on duty took blood and did an ultrasound, and told me that that he had cancer, that there was nothing we could do, and that we should either put him to sleep on the spot, or take him home and provide palliative care. I was devastated and took him home with some painkillers. I called a friend who told me she had taken her cat to the Village Vet emergency room two years ago, and they had misdiagnosed her cat. She urged me to take my dog to our regular vet on Monday, which I did. Dr. Williams at Avondale Veterinary Hospital had a hunch that my dog didn't have cancer, did exploratory surgery on Tuesday morning and found a hemotoma which he fixed. He also did a biopsy of the tissue which turned out to be cancer free! Now my dog is happy and healthy, and to think I almost had him put to sleep!.

Dr. Franco is Horrible!
Dr. Franco was extremely rude to me when I brought in my cat. A condition she considered rare was not to my new vet. She is not good at communicating and extremely stubborn- I have switched to a vet that charges half of what Village vets charge, and has much better care and service.
