Great doctor., terrible service
I've been going to TEG for years. wait times have always been very long, but I was willing to put up with it for the quality. But the past several visits now, have been unsatisfactory. One of the front desk persons was very condescending. Also one of the ladies in the contact department was extremely rude when I wanted a prescription to take with me (I didn't buy contacts from them because of costs). I will be looking for a new provider.

Waited 1 hour and 20 min. - saw a doctor for 6 min
I arrived 20 minutes early for my 7:10 am appointment. After a prolonged waiting time in the exam room, an assistant said "the doctor isn't here yet but should be here any minute". He arrived after 8 AM and appeared rushed. He was in the exam room for only 6 minutes before rushing off to the next patient. He may be a technically sound opthamologist, but is not a good doctor.

Get glasses elsewhere??? They won't help!
The optical medical care is excellent and through BUT having a "refraction" done (where you are measured for glasses) IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY.
Don't ask for all the measurements needed to order your glassed on-line, THIS PROVIDER WILL REFUSE TO GIVE THEM TO YOU. They want you to buy their EXPENSIVE glasses at their store and WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IN SAVING MONEY ON-LINE!!!

service could be alot better
The Dr. was great when it was time to see him. The admin staff is so slow. I waited 20 min. before the staff relized I was a new patient. It was another 30 min till I was called back. Like I said seeing the Dr. was great. Checking out wasn't that great. I had to wait for the cashier to finish rearranged her stuff on the desk before she would help me. I'm sorry but I don't have time to wait on the admin staff to get to it when they feel like it. I will not be going back here.

Very Satisfied with Dr Newman
I had a very satisfactory experience with Dr. Newman. He is a kind and thoughtful man, and obviously enjoys his work. I am very confident with his diagnosis and treatment of my problem. I was able to get an appointment within a few days of my call and did not have too wait too long in the waiting room. I liked being able to complete new patient forms in advance. I only gave 4 stars because the staff was only good, not great. I think it is worth putting up with staff to see Dr. Newman and would highly recommend him,
