Worst Customer Service
We've been patients at this practice for 4 years, and I just can't take it anymore. I have had many issues with them, including billing, front desk issues, waiting times, rude staff. I'm even starting to question the expertise of their medical staff. I called the other day to change an appointment for my daughters. I was told they would book it for me and call me right back. That was Tuesday. It is now Friday evening and I haven't heard anything. I even called yesterday and was reassured they were working on it. My life is too busy and hectic to deal with this. It's causing more stress than necessary. I am going to look for a smaller practice with staff who actually care.

Terrible Service!
This is a horrible company. They have very little respect for people. All they care about is your money. I do not recommend this place for your eye care.

Do not go to them.
I went to the Thomas Eye Group because I had pain in my eyes, and I wanted to see if it was my glasses or something serious. My insurance had also changed, and my old doctor did not accept it.

The staff was wonderful, and I was taken to my room very quickly. That's about where the good stops. The eye exam that they gave me was given on a Mac screen and there were additional tests that seemed pointless especially the one involving 3D glasses. After the exam, I was led to another room where I was left for about 15 to 20 minutes alone.

When Dr. Berman finally came in, he said that there was nothing wrong with my eyes, and he didn't know why I was even wearing glasses. I told him that I had acute astigmatism to which he said that I didn't. When I disagreed with him, he looked at the results from my exam and changed his mind saying, "Oh never mind, you're right."

He then suggested that we increase the strength of my glasses. I agreed since they didn't seem as effective as they once were. When I got my new glasses, they were horrible, and I couldn't wear them because they made my head hurt and blurred my vision. I took them back and asked if I could get my old prescription. They told me that I would need to get another exam to do that. After arguing with them, they said they would see what they could do.

I was able to eventually get my old prescription back, but I they refused to give me a refund for the new glasses I had paid for. I will not go back to them again.

Dr. Berland - the Best!
We have been taking our son to Dr. Berland at the Woodstock office for years now, and although we have been to other pediatric opthamologists, Dr. Berland has been by far the best! He is professional, trustworthy, and kind. He and his staff put my son at ease and make each visit pleasant. The Woodstock office has also been excellent and helpful. Our son underwent eye surgery this past year, and it gave us great peace to have a doctor in which we had confidence and trust. We live about an hour away from the office, but it is well worth the drive. We would highly recommend Dr. Berland and the Woodstock Office!

Exceptional eye surgery
Had cataracts removed from both eyes in three week's time.
Very professional, caring personal at the Woodstock office including Dr.
Mark Berman (Ophtalmologist), Techs and office personnel.
Highly recommended.
