You may want to drop by on a Saturday or Sunday with friends for brunch. There is a friendly line that circles and jokes and laughs with kids and strollers and positive yummy food energy. Nice. Good... food. But I like to sneak here on my Mental Health day. Out of work, running errands: the dog, the nails, the bookstore. This is where I go for a cheese and potato skillet mess. Their food is delicious! I used to eat there all the time but they are too far away so I don't go as often. If you are ever in the Edgewood neighborhood stop by and grab a bit. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent! The food is fresh and delicious. The in-town setting is laid back, casual with very good vibes. Breakfast is served all day and it's the best. One day we arrived just before closing at 4pm but they welcomed us and did not rush us one bit. If you want a truly good meal, this is the place. It's not your run of the mill "wanna be" diner - they got it right! Love it.
Great place for a downtown business breakfast. You can look hip to your new client, but feel safe at the same time. Order any of the specials, and hope that you get one of the regular servers.
Typically not a long wait but it is well worth the wait. Huge portions and awesome omelettes. A must see and do.
We had a great breakfast at Thumbs Up when we visited Atlanta, although the wait was mch longer than I liked. Super buckwheat pancakes, though!
Love the breakfast at Thumbs Up. Used to go to them YEARS ago when they were in Decatur. Was thrilled to see them on Edgewood. Have been for breakfast many times and loved it. Long wait and a few beggers outside, but the food is great.
i wish they were bigger. The wait is bad but it is so worth it. Original breakfast dishes are awesome.
i'm always frequenting thumbs up. it's always a wait, b/c it's always busy. I wish they wouldnt close at 3 every day, but they make up for this disappointment by always satisfying my taste buds. i always get the catfish and eggs and grits, and am never disappointed.
This place has good food, but I do not think the food is worth the long wait they normally have on weekends. Considering that there are other places in town where you can get a good breakfast and not have to wait, I don't think it's worth it. The buckwheat pancakes are good though, so if you can go when there is no line I recommend it.
One of the best places in Atlanta to go for breakfast. The catfish melts in your mouth, and the sassy scramble is an original.
I've had nothing but fantastic service and food here. The all day breakfast is a plus. The wait can be long, especially on weekends, but come at an off hour and you should get in without too much wait. Bring cash, no plastic accepted.
Love the east point location. This location had bad service. Long wait and not very friendly staff
