Kudzu Great Deal was no deal.
I bought the Kudzu deal from Tile Creations that was supposed to be 56% off of their regular price. I didn't get any other bids or estimates because I assumed that it had to be a good deal if Kudzu was offering it. The deal was 50sqft of bathroom tile installed for $799. My bathroom was 125sqft so they were going to extend the price out to $1,750 to cover the extra square feet. I am sure that Andre's work is outstanding and I don't know if the price is set by Tile Creations or Kudzu, but the price on this deal is no bargin. Instead of half off, it is about 30% more than anybody else is charging for their regular price.

There was somewhat of a misunderstanding in the acquisition of the deal and the price quoted for the additional work. In finding the area to be more than twice the amount allotted in the deal, TCI originally quoted a doubling of the deal. Addressing the claims of the client, we reviewed his concerns. Kudzu's pricing on their deals is based on what if these issue would come up of a typical service cost; they then halve that or take off even more (in our case, 56%). So there is a little cost for all those issue that you may need or not for your project. Kudzu takes an additional 30% of that amount for them selves,and the balance goes to the service provider. Overall, the Great Deal program is, indeed, a great deal if one uses it for the allotted amount. We settled the issue amicably with the client, and everyone was satisfied. In fact if it was allowed mr. Johansen would have removed this review once it was explain to him by kudzu how these deals come about. Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal
