My editing service is for writers who struggle with grammar rules, but also for those who need feedback on reader interest, clarity, and concise wording. I know many of you wish you had a real person rather than a spell checker to double-check your work. You want to make a good impression and accomplish your object. Time for Revision can catch the mistakes you?ve made, polish up your paragraphs, and prepare your document for the intended audience.

I gained over a year of valuable editing experience by working for Accelerated Christian Education in the Writing Department. While there, I wrote and revised curriculum for seventh-grade social studies and literature courses. I learned how to work with an editing checklist, find answers to grammar questions, and employ a creative mindset.


I also offer language arts tutoring for grades K?12 through Advanced Learners, a nation-wide tutoring agency. I am certified by the Florida Board of Education to teach upper level English. I have opted not to teach full-time, but I enjoy putting my educational training into practice as a tutor. You can trust me to be kind, patient, and purposeful in working with your child on his or her English skills.

I love the students I tutor, and I put developing rapport with them as a high priority. I maintain eye contact, smile, and never speak to them in a disparaging way. Although I make lesson plans in advance, I do what I can to allow the student freedom in choosing the order of specific activities. I allow questions, and I try to lead each student to an answer by asking leading questions in return. I provide regular testing to determine when they have mastered a concept and are ready to move on. I am confident in my teaching abilities and I intend to inspire confidence in my students so that they will be motivated to grow and improve.
