If you are a woman, please be prepared to get ripped off. I called about getting my timing belt replaced & was quoted a price of $385. Not once did they mention that the type of car I have would... require that the valves/rods would have to be replaced-which would be more expensive to fix. Once I had my car towed there, they called & said the price would be $1900! From mechanic & service tech-"Oh yeah, this type of car, even if timing belt broke while idle, would bend the valves/rods." They knew this when I had to tell them the type of car to get the first quote, so why wait until I had my car towed there? To rip me off, that's why. When I stood my ground, the store owner told me he could do it for $1600. Seeing as how they could have saved me the drama by being HONEST over the phone, I told them I did not have the funds to have it repaired for that amount of cash. I spent $130 in towing fees, but I did not give in to their tactics! I was able to find someone to do the EXACT same service for $1100! If you use TiresPlus, get a second opinion before spending your hard earned money on work that may or may not be needed!
