We bought a house with a large yard that had many problem spots. The owner/operator of Tommy Gun came out to the house and walked the property and offered several solution options based on how much money we wanted to spend. The job included installing 20 yards of mulch and several large areas of new sod where rocks had to be removed and hard clay broken up and covered with top soil. They also installed a new drainage pipe that stopped the erosion that had caused the problem areas. Dusty and his crew were friendly and knowledgable. They had intelligent answers to my questions and took great care that the finished yard looked great. We are very pleased with the results and we are planning another major project with Tommy Gun next spring.

Dusty, the boss, is terrible at returning phone calls. The lawn service guys did a great job in the beginning, however, now it looks embarrassingly awful. The guys mowed the lawn when it was muddy and tore up the grass in many places. They also told Dusty they mowed my yard and when I told him they didn't, Dusty made a bunch of excuses and wanted to argue with me to the point I became angry. He said I wasn't giving him a chance to correct the problem. I did give him a chance, several actually. I would NOT recommend Tommy Gun Lawn Service.

We used this company for over a year. Their workers didn't speak english,so I couldn't give them instructions. I had to call Dusty. Dusty argued with me about how tall the grass should be and when we used him to plant trees, I had to tell them the proper way to plant the tree and they still didn't follow instructions. He was replaced.

They're reliable and show up when they're supposed to, unlike some other lawn services. Dusty solicits feedback to ensure his customers are satisfied. Rates are comparable to other services. I like that a contract is not required.
