Shannon's method of training is truly amazing! Having tried other trainers and their methods I can definitely say she is by far the best in town. When she left my 1st puppy lesson with my 10 week old puppy, he was already sitting, downing and attempting to roll-over. Continuing her method 3 days later it is amazing how quick he caught on. I would highly recommend her for your pet!

I can't say enough good things about Shannon and Total K9 training. We've always considered ourselves to have a good dog, but we wanted to teach him basic obedience skills from an early age. We took him as a puppy to Shannon's group classes and he learned so much so fast. We've continued on to the more advanced obedience classes and had Shannon over for some in-home sessions. She is a wonderful trainer and the nicest person you could meet. She always finds a way to help with your particular problem/question and is so generous with her time. She's an invaluable resource for raising our dog, we are so glad we met her!!

Shannon (TK9) is the 3rd trainer we have experienced (2 prior with other dogs). She is definitely ahead of the pack. Having experienced the others (who provided adequate instruction), we can really appreciate the value of her keen insight, and sound approach to training "both ends of the leash"! Shannon provides plenty of practical information regarding useful training approaches as well as extremely valuable tips to enhance your overall experience with your dog.

I didn't know that dogs have "terrible twos". Mozart at two became a strong willed jerk. Fortunately I was given Total K-9's number and Shannon came to the home, met up at the park and invited us to class. Soon Mozat was a good dog.

Shannon is a great dog trainer, and she truly does train both ends of the leash. I started with Shannon by having her over for an at-home puppy training visit. She gave me invaluable information on basic obedience, potty training, crate training, nutrition...everything I needed to know for my new puppy. I continued to work with Shannon by enrolling my dog the 6-week puppy training class. It was such a valuable experience, I have now enrolled my dog in the intermediate class. She is an excellent trainer, and I would highly recommend her to any dog owner.

Got a Morkie puppy (Maltese and Yorkie mix) and planned on going to Petco or other Pet chain for training. Won 6-wk puppy training class through a silent auction and we are so glad that we did! Shannon is an amazing teacher for both the owner and dog. Our 6 month old puppy is so much better behaved than any of the dogs that we know that went through other programs. She took the time to learn our dog's personality. Helped us train our small/extremely hyper dog to behave as well as many of the bigger dogs, while providing an excellent and safe learning environment for owners and dogs. Would've signed up for home learning program if we had known earlier. Plan on taking next level of classes in the fall. Would recommend to any owner interested in basic obedience, health and nutrition, and advanced understanding of our best friends.

Shannon's practical approach to dog training helped me tremendously. I have issues with my dog and cat getting along, and would have had to give up my dog with out the management techniques that Shannon taught me. And even when I stopped training, she has been there for me with advice, tips and support. I highly recommend the fantastic one-on-one training that Shannon offers with Total K9 Training.

I started bringing Chloe(vizsla)to Shannon at 3 months when I knew I needed help. Chloe was crazy, stubborn and just not fun to be around. With Shannon's knowledge and patience, she worked with us and this past June, Chloe received her Canine Good Citizen award! When I was looking for a trainer, Shannon is the only one I know that is also a Senior Animal Care Specialist at Sea World. Talk about credentials! We've had a combination of private and group classes. We use the private for behavioral issues at home and group to train, socialize, reinforce with added distractions, and learn about grooming, nutrition, hygiene, etc. I highly recommend Shannon and feel lucky to have found her. Thanks Shannon!

We started bringing our rottweiler to Total K9 when she was 4 months old. Like most puppies she didn't understand the basic commands such as sit, stay, down, or come. Shannon has changed all that and trained our dog far beyond our expectations. When our family and friends visit they are amazed at what a well mannered and obedient dog we have. Shannon is always available to answer any questions that arise and to help correct any unwanted behaviors before they become a problem. We have nothing but praise for Shannon and Total K9 Training!
