My dog went into this kennel without fleas and came out four days later with fleas. Linda tried to convince me that my apartment was the source, that 'a few got in before you went away and then when you returned, jumped onto your dog'. First off, how strange is that theory? My dog has been living flea-free in my apartment for a year and a half. He stays in Town and Country for four days and comes home with a full blown case of fleas that I discovered on the day he came home. There were at least a dozen fleas on him and those were just the ones I noticed...so this wasn't the case of an odd flea or two, but more like an infestation. I find it much more likely that he picked up fleas at a kennel filled with dogs, rather than my apartment. Case of fleas aside, the customer service that I received when I called to tell them about this is worthy of mention...not only was my apartment blamed for the fleas, but Linda refused to even consider that the kennel might have a flea problem. And with that in mind, how likely is it that they will attempt to solve a problem that they won't even consider exists? To their credit, they did refund my money. I am still switching kennels because fleas are gross.
