I've been taking my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo to Butch & the Toy Shop for years. I know he will fix the problem in the most cost-efficient way. They are totally trustworthy with no hidden fees or unnecessary repairs. This is a shop you can feel good about. My 18 year old SUV is still running great thanks to Butch. I'll recommend this business to anyone who loves their Japanese car.

My husband was a mechanic and we came across a repair that he just couldn't take care of due to lack of equipment. I had a wonderful experience with this shop. I am very hesitant to take my car anywhere other than my husband, but they did a great job. Kept me informed of the repairs that were being made and didn't try to "upsell" me on anything that I didn't need. I will be back for major repairs.

My husband, mother and I have been taking our cars to The Toy Shop for many years. Over the course of that time he's taken car of 5 Toyotas, 2 Iszuzus and a Honda, and we have always been very happy with their work. Butch kept my 1990 Corolla running for over 20 years until I sold it to someone who is still happily driving it. I can't say enough about how honest, concientous and reliable these guys are. Even after we moved into Atlanta we would still bring our cars to Butch. I have taken my car to the dealership for checkups and they would give me a list of things that would need to be serviced, and then Butch would check it out and give me feedback on what could wait and what needed to be done immediately. I'm sure he's saved us hundreds of dollars! He always stands behind his work, and is a great advocate when dealing with other car businesses, insurance companies, etc. I'm glad the other reviewers are equally as impressed. Butch is a rare find!

We have used Toy Shop for 15+ years and Butch always gives you the advice you would expect from a family member who is a mechanic. He is that honest and practical. I won't buy an American car again because I want Toy Shop to be my mechanics for my cars... they are that good.

After another mechanic failed to warranty a timing belt repair Butch rediagnosed the issue correctly and took it upon himself to call the other mechanic and ultimatly resulting in the original mechanic to pay for the correction. Honest People.

We have been using Butch at the toy shop for nearly 15 years. We have found him to be very trustworthy and efficient.p If you have a Toyota, a Geo or even a Nissan you can't go wrong choosing the Toy Shop.

I happened on Butch and The Toy Shop when I had a "lemon" used Maxima. I had a noise from what turned out to be a rear strut, found The Toy Shop, and took the car in. Butch spent a good amount of time, diagnosed the problem, and recommended I NOT spend any money on it unless I just wanted to!! I can't recall the last time a mechanic suggested I not spoend money with them on a repair. Since then, I take both my other Maxima (170,000 miles) and my Sonata (120,000 miles)and can't be more satisfied with Butch's service and ethics!

I have now gone to the Toy Shop for approximately 10 years, and will only buy a car that I know the Toy Shop can service. To me, your car is only as good as your mechanic. The last two cars I had I kept until the cars were approximately 200,000 miles with the Toy Shop service. The Toy Shop mechanics are the best, and their service is honest and reasonable. Prior to going to the Toy Shop, I had several rip off repairs at other locations, and am convinced that the other locations loosened up items, or caused other items to break down. One example out of many: My car started wobbling on the road after being serviced, and when I took it into another place they said although the tires were in perfect condition, one tire was extremely overinflated and another tire was underinflated, which was caused the problem. At the Toy Shop, I sometimes can go for multiple years with just oil changes and routine repairs. My overall repair costs at the Toy Shop are just a small fraction of the costs at other rip off locations.

Butch "renewed" my 1991 MR2 with 160,000 miles on it. Had to replace the turbo, struts, all the belts, hoses and gaskets. 4 years later it is still running like a charm! He has been my mechanic of choice ever since.

I wish I still owned a Japanese car so that I could have Butch do the work on them. He is the most honest mechanic around, as well as being thorough and affordable.

I have had both my Honda Accord and Toyota Sienna serviced here for about a year. Not only are the prices extremely reasonable, but Butch is always willing to tell you what you need and what you can wait on for a while. He never tries to fix or replace something that has a couple thousand miles of use still on it. Additionally, Butch is always happy to answer any of your questions.

When I first moved to Atlanta I asked a friend where he got his car repaired. He told me he only bought foreign cars because he wanted Butch to work on them. Through the years I have received excellent service from the Toy Shop whenever my cars need repair and when they don't need repair he lets me know that as well. Butch always goes the extra mile in so many ways. A recent example is helping me to find an owners manual for the used Honda CRV we bought my daughter. They did not have access to one but they found a place for me to get a brand new manual that was half the price others were asking. I have found Butch to be professional, knowledgeable, honest, and thorough and significantly less expensive than the market.

This is the only place that we take our cars. Butch has done a wonderful job keeping our vehicles running. He explains the problem and always calls with reasonable quotes before completing the work.

I am so glad that I found the Toy Shop to work on my '90 Honda Accord. I am almost at 190K miles and my car is perfectly reliable. They have proven themselves honest to me as well, over and over again. Plus they are great mechanics--my car has never broken down on me since I've gone there and runs beautifully.
