Worst auto service I have ever received. I purchased 2011 Toyota Camry a few months previous from private seller. I went in to Toyota of San Diego for an alignment (car pulling to right), everything checked out "good." I do not drive the car much, only use as long commuter. Next weekend I drove the car to Arizona the car still pulls to the right. I bring the car back the next week, after waiting 20 minutes to get checked in with making an appointment, they check and claim car is out of alignment and caster/camber is bent. This was not indicated on my last alignment 2 weeks ago and they said I must have damaged the car in the two weeks. I barely drove the car! They wanted to charge me another $89 for an alignment? What? Spoke with assistant manager, they left me waiting 15 minutes to look up old records, and she put me back with the staff member. Who told me the same thing, assuming I damaged the car. Do not go to this dealer, they should not be part of Toyota.

I am terribly sorry that you have been disappointed by our dealership. It was not our intention to make you feel taken advantage of or frustrated. Your business is very important to us and I'd like the chance to speak with you so I can hear more detail about your experience. We want to regain your trust. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience so we can work towards a resolution. Sincerely,

I had the collision center fit my 3 month old car with a new rear bumper after getting rear ended, paint didn't match but the shop claimed "it was as close as they could get". They also didn't replace another damaged part even though they said they would, when I went to pick it up I had to make them put it on order and return later when they got it. 1 year later the paint started peeling on the edges and flaking off in one spot. Not wanting to wait over a week to get it "fixed" and deal with their poor quality of work I ended up taking it to a local shop in Chula Vista to get the bumper repainted, not only was the paint a perfect match and much higher quality but almost 2 years later it still looks perfect. My local shop Marquez auto body pretty much laughed at the quality of work and really didn't understand why they couldn't match the paint seeing as how the car was only 3 months old at the time. Stay away from these guys for any bodywork, Earl Scheibs or Maaco probably could have done a better job then they did. Francisco was the guy I dealt with during my experience, thanks a lot for making me wait 20 minutes just to get my keys back from you.

To make this short and sweet, this place is crooked. They lied to me about promotional interest rates. Told me they had a 2.9% when the BEST they could do was a 6.99% with perfect credit. Then they sold the car I was purchasing to another client that came in hours after me. They have done nothing to correct this situation. After giving up all of my personal info and wasting a whole day of my life.. i walked out of there with nothing but anger. Save yourself the trouble... SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! If you take the risk... look out for the sales person Eduardo, the finance manager Tam, and the sales manager Jeff. None of them care about their clients... just trying to scam people.

I had a very bad experience with this dealer. Dealt with their internet sales folks, told them exactly what vehicle & options I wanted, and was told they had a vehicle for me. First time I went in it was 2008 vice 2009 model. They offered to get me 2009 but wanted to charge $1000 extra to get get it from another dealer. Walked away that time but foolishly reengaged and again the vehicle did not match what I had asked for. Was given a song & dance about it being an "honest mistake" but I walked away again and won't ever give this dealer my business. There are plenty of other Toyota dealers in San Diego, so do yourself a favor and avoid this one!

I stopped by to see their used car inventory but they didn't have the model I was looking for. So I left my contact info and left. A week later I started getting twice daily calls from a salesman and finally agreed to make an appointment. When I got there he had the model I was looking for but made me wait an hour before finally making me an offer (his sales price as well as my trade-in value). During the time he was supposedly 'working the numbers' I actually caught him on the phone making more sales calls, i.e., he was intentionally making me wait. Here's the really amazing part: When I said "no thanks" to his offer and tried to leave, he wouldn't let me?! He still had my car keys from when he'd inspected it for trade-in, and for the next several minutes he repeatedly ignored my polite requests for the keys. I finally had to resort to shouting at him, making a scene in front of the other customers. Needless to say, I would never do business with them, both because of their incredibly unprofessional hard-sell tactics and because they totally refused to negotiate the price of their (over-priced) used cars

I have been bringing my corolla here for almost 5 years. They are very helpful, however some of the employees can be slimy. There is no policy against requesting a representative. If you are having your car serviced, I highly suggest Q. He will be honest with you and will communicate with you often if things are taking a bit longer. He may seem aloof and like he doesn't care, but he takes the best care of his clients. I went to another representative once because I was in a hurry and Q was with someone else....MISTAKE. I was there 2 hours longer than when I normally go with Q. As for the collision repair center....Eric is a nice guy, but kind of a flake. He'll only check the parts of your car that were listed as damaged. He will not check for any additional damage. However, if you request that he send your car over to the body shop after his repairs are finished, he will do so at no additional cost and the body shop guys will fix anything else that may have been damaged. The body shop guys can take a bit longer than other places, but they do impecable work. As with anything....do your homework and you will find the best. Toyota San Diego is not the best as a whole, but it does employ some of the best.

The worst experience EVER!! I submitted an online inquiry on an automatic Camry...to get a quote on a MANUAL in return - so that they could play the bait and switch game by offering me a quote on a less expensive vehicle to get me into the door! Wasted my time with their lies and Games!!

We bought our hysbrid SUV Highlander from this dealer. We are treated so well and thoughtful here. They may be a little more than an independent but more that worth it! We will buy our next vehicle from them as well. Best service and people for our cars!

I feel comfortable going to this dealership with my car. I've taken all of my cars here and i would recommend this dealer to anyone. Their knowledgeable friendly staff makes the car servicing experience easy and less stressful.

Service in the body shop was horrible here. I called ahead and talked to Francisco, the supposed manager/supervisor to drop our car off. He said to come by on a certain day & time and we'd be taken care of. When we got there, he had an attitude like he was too good to deal with us. He told us to fill out paperwork, and next thing we knew, he disappeared to get his morning coffee. We waited, and when he didnt return, the people at the front desk told us to just leave our keys on the table. We actually left, and then came back after we thought twice about it. Picked up our keys, and pretty much walked out w/o no questions asked. Anyone could've just walked in after we left the first time & taken our keys. It was a horrible experience! Francisco never even came back to help us.

Small inventory however they are very competative on pricing. Full service is full service. Service department is inferior to any other dealer in San Diego. I had several issues with my new car, less than 3 months old and it took an intervention from customer relations to get the issue resolved.

The prices at Toyota are very high. Yes the cars are good but sales will not budge on the price of the car. All other cars in toyotas class are cheaper and I went elswhere to look for a car. It took a long time to get someone that could help me.
