I find it strange that this review was written on 10/18 when the sale was cancelled on 10/23. Now for my response. Please get all facts straight before trashing a business. I am an employee of Treasure Mart and I along with seven other people worked for days trying to prepare this home for a estate sale. It is unfortunate, but the homeowner just could not make up her mind to anything. On day one we opened the garage and shocked as we were we faced an all day chore of pulling out so much stuff it lined a full two car driveway. We then sorted and replaced items as to how we could make the sale interesting. Sadly, the next day we were accused of throwing away Godiva chocolates, that were gifs to give out. Yes we did throw away the mouse eaten and white coated dark chocolates as we felt it unsafe for anyone to eat. We then were accused of throwing away a five thousand dollar ck. We put all personal papers in a box for the homeowner, and I question why is a ck in the garage. After the garage we moved to the house, what a shock, trust me it has not seen Molly Maid for a very long time. We started washing the dishes from the garage and setting up our displays. we tried hard to make it a lovely setting for her. The night before the sale everything was ready for pricing the next morning. We left lights on and a car in drive so it would appear the homeowner was home. I am sorry it had come to this but no one and I mean NO ONE COULD PLEASE THIS PERSON.

Went to another Treasure Mart estate sale given by Sherry Street. What a mess. She left this poor lady in dire straits. Her house was basically trashed and Sherry claims she spent "hundreds" of hours cleaning and organizing this stuff. If this is clean and organized, I want no part of it. She cancelled the sale and blamed it on the home owner. She also left this poor lady vunerable to breakins by leaving her house virtually wide open. Something needs to be done about this scam artist before she hurts someone else. Stay away from Treasure mart of flint run by Sherry Street. We are not done with her yet!

I posted on the review in July about Sherry having a package to send me with a couple of items I left behind and all my paperwork from my sale and a small final check. Since then, I have been told again that the package would be mailed at least 2 more times. She now keeps her messae center on her phone full so I can not leave a message and she does not ever answer her phone- what a way to run a business! It has now been 9 1/2 months since my sale. This is bullsh_t! The ratin scale should have something for less than poor-like: dissappointed, outraged, totally discussed, furious, SUCKS! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!

2nd day of sale, I was told all items marked in black were 1/2 off, anything in red was firm price. Had an item, marked in black, in my hand 30min after sale started. Owner physically removed item from my hand, changed the price and stated it was not a 1/2 price item. Said she didn't have time to mark all items prior to opening doors for sale. Stated she told the early birds that she didn't have time to mark all items because she opened the doors early. Sale didn't even start until 12 noon!!! As an owner of an estate sale company it is her job to make sure all items are marked and have some sort of organizational skills to run such a business.

Treasure Mart Flint is NOT associated w/ Treasure Mart, Ann Arbor. When Treasure Mart Flint opened years ago the business owners took training from us, but it is not a franchise. The ownership has changed hands several times over the years. Sherry is not the original owner. Treasure Mart Flint should never say that they are affiliated with us in any way. Questions? email@example.com

unprofessional, non-responsive, mis-represented services provided. Over two months after a sale conducted on my mother's behalf, Sherry, after much badgering, finally got us a check which was for far less than her initial sale estimates. Inventories and appraisals were never done. Many high-value items were never accounted for - thus presumed either taken by Sherry or "lost". Sherry evades any effort at communication to resolve matters. Save yourself and your belongings - deal with a reputable company. Stay away from Sherri of Treasure Mart (of Flint).

Feeling totally overwhelmed about doing our own moving sale I called Treasure Mart and was fortunate to have Sherry available to run our sale. As a matter of fact our things were moved from sale to sale after we left Flint. Sherry was a pleasure to work with has a great staff and a regular following where people look for the sales that she runs.
