Dazed and Confused, 7/17/2011

My husband and I recently decided to get into mountain biking. We found this shop online and decided to give them a try to help us find our perfect starter bikes. When we arrived, we were greeted by... a friendly associate but unfortunately, she did not know anything about mountain biking. She referred us to one of the owners, Dave, to help with a fitting and to order a bike. He was unwilling to answer our questions, give us a lesson in basic biking, and an overall session on what we needed to start mountain biking. Dave insisted on ordering us two bikes and was going to do so without our knowledge. We felt like a hassle to this store as they kept putting us to the side as his "regulars" would walk in the store. This was not a very good experience and needless to say, we did not buy our bikes from him. We will definitely not be back to this store anytime soon!

Everything you need, plus a little more..., 2/22/2010

Lady at Mountain Park Pool referred me to this shop. I was surprised to know there was a shop that specialized in triathlons! I went in hoping to get some information on what to expect, and they... spent over an hour with me without me buying anything. Greeted immediately as I walked into the door, there was a moderate rotation of traffic in and out, but the staff spoke to everyone like they knew them for years! I even met a Orthopaedic Surgeon that brought his daughter there for running shoes. I've since purchased a bike from them, and referred a dozen or so of my friends. Not the most extensive inventory out there, but they seem to have the best of everything - or at least the best value of anyone. My suggestion is to call them first to see if they carry what you are looking for - if they don't carry the actual brand, then they will likely have a leading competitor, and they'll tell you why they chose what line they carry!

Best in Town

I was in the market for a triathlon bike last month and came across Tri Your Best. James and Mark were fantastic! They helped me narrow my search down quickly and when we chose the bike that would work best for me, they let me take it for a test ride outside. They then fitted me perfectly on the bike and outfitted me with all of the gear and nutrition products I needed to do my next race. I would recommend Tri Your Best to anyone in the market for a tri bike or anything else tri related for that matter. They were great!
