Trotter seem to have an good and simple system to remove the water after it enters your house, but I prefer Aquaguard who took the time to find the exact location of the leak and fixed the leak for 1/3 the cost of Trotter with a five year guarantee.

Most homeowners want a long term fix. I used to think five years was a long time but now it seems like it goes by in the blink of an eye. It would be a shame to spend thousands of dollars to finish a basement or use it store valuable/sentimental items and in a few years have a leak. Mike Trotter
I had the Dry-Tec system installed recently. The work crew was prompt, efficient, and neat. They answered all my questions and allowed me to look at the work as it progressed. The system looks and works great. It was a professionl job in all respects and I have no regrets. The only minor complaint: upfront I was told Trotter accepts major credit cards. When I scheduled the work they told me it was "cash only". Their Website and promotional literature clearly state "Master Card and Visa accepted".

They don't just waterproof, they also help with foundation issues. I am very satisfied with this company. The builder of my house did a poor job on design and as a result I had a huge upwelling in my kitchen floor. Even though Trotters specialty is basement work, they came out and worked out a good solution for my problem. They were even willing to give me several options in different price ranges so that I didn't have to take the highest estimate. They poured a new piece of foundation with reinforced rebar that was injected into the ground for further support. They did quality work at a good price.

Had a basement waterproofed by this company. They do very professional work and they stand by it. If you want a "bargain" price, don't call. If you want it done right, this is the place. This is a family business and they've been doing this for a few generations now.

Trotter repaired the foundation under our sagging front porch. The man who gave the initial estimate was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He spent as much time as was needed to answer all of our questions, even other questions about the house, unrelated to the front porch, which was the focus of the visit. The workers did a great job, and their work is warranted for the life of the house, and transfers to a new owner. Can't say enough good about Trotter!
