I have not recieved bills for the November, December, January or February service. Trugreen sent the November and December bills to a collection agency!!!! You can not talk to the local Acworth office. All calls go to a call center. That center can not figure out how to send a bill by e mail. They apparently have to get the local office to send it by US mail. And after three requests, I still do not have the bills. They claim that it is a computer problem. That's what they said last summer when I was getting bills marked "your account is past due". The service had been done 10 days prior.

Not one to complain, because its a waste of my time, but certain people at this office's call center are awful. I got billed for an extra service I wasn't notified of, or authorized by me plus it wasn't even needed. The lady on the phone told all services automatically renew and that since I had asked for it last year it would automatically be done this year (i.e. because contracts automatcially renew). Funny, this was a special service that was not part outside of the contract. I told her that I always got a call prior to let me know a service was to be performed, and I didn't even ask for the service nor did I get a carbon invoice telling me exactly what was done (just the mailed invoice with the bill amount weeks later).Again, She said since you ordered it last year it automatically renews this year unless you terminate it. I said ok, I'll terminate my service with you. No another words, just forwarded me to corporate. Luckily they know how to do their job at corporate and were able to fix the situation. The local call center person didn't explain that the new computer system is on the fritz and people are accidentally getting services they didn't order. Just a warning, when in doubt talk to corporate. I know I am as important as a speck of dust in the grand scheme, but still, take some pride in your job. There are people are there who actually care and need a job.

We used TruBrown last year and their first application to kill weeds killed our grass instead and the overspray killed flowers and shrubs in our flower beds, so we discontinued service. This year they assured that they have a new staff and promised that it would not happen again if we were to give them a second chance. Well, we did and just recently they injected fertilizer to the root system of a bonzai plant and killed half the plant. Last year the overspray killed half a large shrub, but this year it completely died. I expect the same will happen to the bonzai plant. Their guarantee is they will reapply the last service or refund the last service. Big deal, the replacement cost of the bonzai and shrub will be 10 times that refund.

I can't say anything bad nor anthing good, but that tru green is just another lawn service provider. They treat your weeds and you gotta wait to see the results. That's pretty much it. Although their price is pretty competitive with other companies.

I waited 20 min on hold in order to fire these clowns for the second time in 2 years. this time, it is for good. My lawn is full of weeds of all kinds and looks worse then it did 2 years ago when they started. A complete rip off.

Per their service reps I had a healthy lawn with minor weeds, good turf density, and some crabgrass that would not be in issue this year (2008) when I started my service with TruGreen back in 2007. I had missed the pre-emergents in 2007. So I was told there would be NO crabgrass next year if I continued treatments. Now my yard is full of all sorts of weeds and neither the branch office or corporate office are willing to get my yard back in the condition it was in before I started their service. I wish there was a way to post pictures.

Not so Tru One of the tech's was fertilizing my leaves..yes, I said leaves. When I approached him I asked him what he was doing. He said he was fertilizing the lawn. I said "how could you? - there's a zillion leaves covering the lawn". His response was...I could come back another time. I said yes, let me get rid of the leaves first & I then I will call your company when all the leaves have been disposed of. Sure enough, two weeks later another guy shows up & starts spraying my leaves in the backyard. The company was "let go" immediately. They keep calling my house wanting my business back..this has been going on for 3 months now.

they claim to have treated your yard but never do. once my husband was at home while they claimed to have treated when he appeared at the door when the tech was about to drive off he did a 360 and did the job he was supposed to do. am i paying you to half do your job when you think I am NOT at home? TERRIBLE will never use them again!! NEVER EVER!!!

I tried them with their special rate and convenient invoicing. One week I decided to work from home and looked while they performed their service or lack of service...I saw the guys sitting in the truck and then a few minutes later put the invoice on my door. I ran out and asked them what did they do (this was when they added green to the lawn)...the quickly started adding it. I called and told management ..they offered to come and do it again. Now lately with the very hot weather..their service was useless..I called on August 21 to cancel...and wrote cancel on my check....I jotted down the name of the rep I talked to...well they came out last week (while I am at work) and serviced my yard. I called and ask why when I cancelled...the rep became snippy..saying I see where you spoke with Jane and Teresa and Edward...I said so you are saying you don't have a James working there? she no we do, I said then why mention the other names?...its your problem that James didnt notate the account with my cancellation...she then said well hold while I see what we can do about this latest balance..I said well I am not holding...what you do with the balance is your problem....WATCH THIS COMPANY, I HEAR THEY WERE FORCED TO LEAVE GREEN DYE SO CUSTOMERS COULD KNOW THEY REALLY DID SOMETHING...and by the way on Friday for my service, it was pouring raining...go figure!

A horrible HIGH-PRESSURE sales agent came out to our house, to give us a quote on treating our lawn. Kept threatening that we had to make a decision that same afternoon... ...insisted we would not find any better offers anywhere else, and that is why we needed to sign right then and there. When asked what the service would include... he kept on beating around with confusing jargon... couldn't quite seem to explain exactly what would be done... We told him we we're very unhappy with the original service done to our lawn by this company when it was included in our closing price... (first 6 applications we're "free")... when they did apply product, they missed entire patches of our lawn... and then they came and did the last 3 applications 1 week apart from each other.... horrible customer service on the phone... never got a straight answer about what had been applied...
