I normally don't do reviews but this has to be shared. I had several x-rays done before going to dr. Tucker all of the xrays were the same. They were all sent to his office ahead of schedule. When I get to the office he acts as if he didn't receive them when I asked did he get them? Then I ask the front desk had they receive the emails with my xrays and they said that they were good enough to use. So, either you got them and they couldn't be used or you never got them at all? Bottom line is, the whole office is a bunch of liars. They don't discuss any payments before they take you into the office they act as if they don't know how much anything costs, and once you've had things done they charge you this high bill that you had no intentions of paying beforehand. Luckily, I was able to pay it but I'm never going back to the office to actually have my procedures done. He acted as if he was too good to discuss any payment or payment options with me. The way he talked to me was almost as if he didn't want to do the procedure so he tried to basically talked me out of having it done knowing that I needed it done in the first place. Make sure you know what you're getting into upfront because they will quickly bait and switch you.

I was referred to him by Affordable Dental in Lawrenceville for a few extractions. I was never told of any charges as I informed them I will be paying cash. Upon arriving the staff had a bit of a shady vibe as they gave me new patient paperwork. I get called to the back and Tucker informs me that the x rays I just had taken a few weeks ago weren't good and I needed more taken. Reluctantly I did and he then discusses the procedure he'd do for me etc. Etc. I asked him if I could pay for the surgery in installments in which he rudely snapped at me that he was basically too good to discuss money with me and that the women at the front desk will inform me of all of my financial questions. So after the consultation ends, I head to the front to discuss scheduling and payments etc in which I was told I owed $180 for the x rays and consultation fee!! I contact my general dentist after leaving and she tells me that my x rays look great and that she has no idea why he'd say I need another set done. They told me I had to take it up with Tucker to receive a refund. I talked to my best friend that day and she says Tucker said the same exact thing! That her x rays weren't any good and charged her insurance $119 for half mouth x Ray but charged me $110 for full mouth x Ray. Her insurance later sends her a letter saying they wouldn't cover the cost of the x Ray he took because she JUST had x rays done. Don't go here!!

Read the other reviews- can't imagine that were talking about the same dentist. Total professional. I had extensive work done. He is mild mannered and his patients are #1. Calls to check in on you the night of any procedure. He did a beautiful job on the full implants of my lower teeth. (lengthy procedure) but well worth it. Nursing staff is awesome!

Unprofessional, unskilled and deceitful oral surgeon. He will mislead you with multiple treatment options until you agree to have dental CT scan. After the scan you will have to beg his office manager to give you an appointment, because the doctor is no longer interested in you - he has received his referral fee, this is all he wanted, and he no longer has any treatment options for you. Read this testimonial carefully before going to this doctor.

User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars by Bill 06/10/2011 I have to really question the integrity of Dr. Tucker. After an extensive consultation (in which X-rays were reviewed that clearly showed non-bone impacted wisdom teeth) Dr. Tucker indicated that my daughter was in the 97th percentile of not having to be concerned about any complications because none of her teeth were impacted in the bone. He went on and on about how good it was that we were bringing her in so early because if we had waited they could become impacted into the bone and cause difficulty. After receiveing the bill for the procedure we noticed that all of her teeth were categorized and we were charged for bony impactions. When we questioned this and reminded him that he said none were impacted into the bone we were told, quite rudely by him and his staff that "he never would have said that." There were 3 adult witnesses in the consultation and all heard the exact same thing. I would not recommend him to anyone unless you don't mind being lied to, treated disrespectfully and overpaying for dental procedures.

Dr Tucker extracted a tooth for me in 01/07. His staff is professional, friendly, and caring. Dr Tucker was concerned with my well being both during and after the procedure. I give his office your best rating!! Ben B. White III firstname.lastname@example.org
