Wish I Found Twin Years Ago
Got my transmission rebuild done here at Twin Automotive and Transmission Repair about 4 months ago. I came in because my Honda had lost first and third gear. I wish I had came in sooner and didn't wait so long to have the work done. Twin was great with the repair. They gave me a free transmission diagnosis, although we already knew what was wrong with the car. The transmission had to be rebuilt, I used a $200 off coupon I found on their website. Paul walked me through the steps they would take on the transmission rebuild, which was nice. The lady in the shop called me with updates on my repair and my honda was done at the exact time they said it would be done. There was absolutely no hassle dealing with this transmission shop. Five stars. Thanks.

Check with Twin First for your Transmission issues
Good service My 2000 Silverado had a problem that another garage had told me would require a new transmission. Pauls team at Twin Automotive determined that it was a valve body(?) problem only. They did some corrections or updates that solved the problem for less than $500 instead of the $3000 the other garage quoted me. The other place said they didn't have a transmission expert who could work on a valve body when I called them back to complain. Check with Twin Automotive first before you let someone tell you you need a new transmission. They are specialists in their field!

Wouldn't go anywhere else
I went in for a couple things - alignment, e-brake adjustment and to have them check my brakes (I thought I needed to have the brake fluid replaced). Well the alignment is great, the e-brake works like it should again, and they even told me that my brake fluids did not need replacing and that I probably just needed to seat my brake pads. In other words they could have charged me but opted not to. Honesty is worth a lot, especially when it comes to auto mechanics. I'll be back for sure!

best transmission repair shop hands down
i first brought my honda over to jims on independence. while i was there the guy tried to upsell me and couldn't give me the "exact" price to for my rebuild without taking everything part first. i really didnt trust that so i decided to get another quote and perspective. i took it over to twins automotive which is just down 74 near the walmart in indian trail. their shop was emmaculate and the guy took me back to show a transmission they were in the process of rebuilding. he drove with me in my car so i could show him what my problem was. he gave me a price and alot of good information about my honda too. BIG DIFFERENCE than the first shop where i was priced at. twin automotive gave me a quote and even the timeframe when the transmission would be fixed by. i clearly chose them to do the work. they even put me up in a rental car for the next two days while the transmission was being worked on. when i got my honda back, it was way better than when i left it. all problems fixed, they even vaccumed the car out and wiped down the inside. gave me an air freshener too. there is so much that this auto shop gives that i have never seen from local shops before. and the best part was that the price was good too. all said and done i am more than satisfied with twins automotive.

Best shop in town
I am very very pleased with this auto shop. Everything was done and completed on time. When they did have an issue with an additional part that needed to be added, they did call first and explain everything to me. The technician was very respectful and took his time to explain the repair to me in detail. I had my car back on time and I appreciate all their hard work. If I could rate them 10 stars I would. Just excellent!
