First of all will start with positives. Despite of snowy day (rare in Atlanta), movers still showed up on time and completed the move over 5 hours. They were committed, worked hard to perform the move. During the move, a dresser glass top was cracked, which I reported within couple of days. These things do happen with moves, but it's the way the issue is handled makes the difference. Despite of repeated emails and phone calls, there was no follow up from the branch. Finally after two weeks received call from the office manager Matt and first sentence 'you said everything was fine on the day of move'. No concern or remorse on the damage caused but trying to put blame on me. I send him pictures, dimensions, asking to take the old broken glass so they can get one cut to size. Again no response. Finally had to use the pressure of disputing the charge with credit company and I receive call within 1 minute, with office manager Matt yelling at me. WORST customer service from this franchise of Two Men and a Truck. He just called to tell me that I should go ahead and dispute the charge and I can't do anything as they have my signatures on payment. There is no intent from the branch to fix the damage caused. Would not recommend the Marietta branch with this terrible experience with office manager. No concept of customer service and will try to bully you in case of any issues with the move.

Even with extra man and larger truck, they went 3 hrs over. poorly packed the truck so you could see empty space, but couldn't get to it and had to make second trip, way over expected cost and estimated cost, we color coded boxes with special tape that had names and put those colors above doors to that room for ease of unpacking, but items in all different rooms and heavy ones for upstairs were hidden under boxes on the first floor, broke several items and didn't fix or replace as exact part or item no longer available, scratched hardwood floor and person sent to fix used a chemical that would not polish and I had to hire a pro to fix. In short - Do Not Even Consider These People!

The crew showed up late. The movers forgot to load the washer and dryer onto the truck and therefore the washer and dryer didn't make it to our new home. We were left trying to figure out whether we should hire another mover or find a way to get our washer and dryer into our SUV. The movers didn't even hang a door back on its hinges. My door was left propped up against my couch and two men and truck's hammer was left on the floor. Then, the customer service was terrible trying to get someone back to my house to finish properly assembling a desk and get the door back on its hinges. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND GO WITH ANOTHER MOVER!!

Needed an emergency move to get my girlfriend out of a bad situation. I called these guys late in the morning and explained what was going on and they pulled a bunny out of the hat. By mid afternoon we had a crew and truck at the first location. The guys were fast, efficient, and totally professional. They packed everything up quickly and emptied her rooms, then we moved on to the second location. Rinse and repeat then off to the destination across town. By the time we got there it was getting late so we discussed the options and agreed to meet in the morning to complete the move. The guys showed up promptly the next morning and unloaded the truck quickly. During the unloading process a supervisor stopped by to check on how the move was going and make sure I was happy (I was). 31 boxes later I thanked everybody, paid them for a job well done, and they were off. The thing I learned, though, was that the packing material was a bit pricier than I would have liked. It wasn't outrageous, but I could have saved a fair amount of money if we had been able to pack everything up before they showed up. We didn't have that luxury since it was a sudden event, but it is a lesson well learned. It was still a good value for the service provided. Next time, though, I hope to pack everything up ahead of time and just utilize their moving service. Overall great move and I'm happy with everybody involved.

I can't say enough good things about them. Our recent move was perfect. The movers were professional, courteous, efficient, timely and personable. This is customer service at its finest. Will definitely call them for our next move.

Ok, I am a true customer who did a lot of research on "movers." I found there is a lot of "scamming" in the moving industry and was very worried about my move from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Florida. I don't want to take too much time but my move was smooth, quick, and very professional. I would refer these guys to my family and friends. The crew who packed my house and who unpacked me were considerate, efficient and easy to work with. I had a supervisor come to the packing job in Atlanta and then call the monday after the move to make sure everything was ok. This was a great move. Thanks !!

Do not use the Marietta Franchise! I've used two men and a truck 4 times prior to this move, until this move I've loved two men and truck; this is the first time with this franchise and it was terrible. They sent inexperienced staff and one of the staff was not physically capable of being a mover. They damaged multiple pieces of furniture and took twice as long as my four prior moves with two men a truck for the same items. Please take this review seriously, I would hate for anyone to go through the same. Strongly recommend other two men and truck franchises in Atlanta, just not this one. Based on their previous responses, it is likely the staff will post stating I'm an unreasonable customer however I'm highly professional and experienced with moving. My assessment is based on a comparison for the same move by the same company - different franchise. Read all the reviews from other customers - there are many with similiar experiences.

The Two men came on two separate days. Both times they did a great job and damaged not a thing! We had way too much still not packed and they helped do everything as if it were their own mother's heirlooms. Thanbks Two Men!

This was my second move with Two Men. 1st move went quickly, no problems. They moved me from 2 locations to an apt., moved boxes and furniture with no damage. This move was not good. I asked the person who set up the move if furniture was covered by insurance. The answer was YES. When the movers arrived, I discovered I had to purchase insurance if I wanted my furniture covered for more than $300.I wasn't informed of their policy of wrapping and shrink wrapping everything. They moved me from an apartment to a home and moved furniture and only 5 ir 6 boxes. The move took almost twice as long with an additonal person as the first move and had only a fraction of the items. Two young men spent so much time wrapping, taping, and then shrink wrapping each and every little item to the point of being ridiculous that the hours added up quickly. One person spent a lot of time in the truck waiting for the others to wrap and bring out items, totally inefficient.I've moved many, times, including across country more than once and have always had good luck with movers wrapping furniture as they positioned it in the truck. I have had practically no damage in all those moves. Two Men wrapped to excess and I had more damage than any of the other moves. When I spoke to the manager about facts not being disclosed up front and the extra time it took, he asked me if I was accusing them of being crooks! Cost me a lot more than anticipated, a real hardship. I would never recommend their service.

Preparing for the move was easy and everyone was very friendly. BUT,once my goods were loaded in the truck management decided to not provide the service they committed to. I called and left a message with the rep who had assisted me all along, but no one has called me back. Therefore, although the packers and movers were very efficient, helpful and professional, I CANNOT recommend this Marietta location. Specific issue: The rep knew everything up front about my move. I was told it would be a 2-day move....pack one day and load, drive, unload the next. On the 2nd day, we reached our location and the movers called and stated that they were not allowed to unload our goods after all...would have to wait until next day per a manager. Based on previous info, I had only packed clothing for the previous night. My husband was supposed to be at work the next day and his clothes were held hostage in the truck. He had to wear dirty clothes we had at the location already. Luckily, his not-so-lenient boss allowed him to take the a.m. off due to problem. Also, we had to find a pet-friendly hotel at the last minute...not an easy task. 2 things need changed: 1. Apologize when commitment not honored. 2. Tell customers UP FRONT if might take an extra day so they can plan ahead. The motto "promise less, provide more" should be the absolute for cust. service industries.

This mover damaged my furniture & has refused to pay for the repairs as specified in their moving contract. They offered far less than the cost of the repairs. My furniture wasn't damaged until they moved it. They have misquoted the GA PSC law. The movers were reckless & careless. Turned furniture upside down that should have been moved upright. Did not appropriately pad furniture. There are more complaints against this mover at GAPSC and BBB of Atl than any other 2MenandaTruck location. Do not use this mover.

I have used this company for 2 moves in the past 10 years. Granted a lot can change so some of the bad reviews may be warranted but I can tell you that they managed to move my 2 bedroom apartment contents and only one glass was broken one time. I was amazed. Good job
