I really like this place. I've been a few times and the food has been consistently great. I have had a lot of fun taking out of towners here during good weather when they open the big garage-like doors and you get the beautiful view of the city.

Went here years ago and had a great meal after waiting an hour past our reservation time. They comped the heck out of our bill, so all was well. In the years since, I've gone vegan, so obviously this place never sprung to mind as a great place to dine. But I went back this weekend for a friend's bachelorette dinner. I asked the waiter to help me figure out what I could eat, since nothing on the menu seemed to be animal-product free except for a salad, hold the cheese. The waiter's response: Eat some meat and give up this stupid vegan thing. Seriously, you just need to order a steak and get over it. Really? That's your response? I mean, you can THINK I'm an idiot who needs some bacon -- but can you keep your mouth shut and HELP ME? I've waited tables -- and I know -- you don't have to like me, but you do have to SERVE me!! Fortunately, I was in a good mood, so I just laughed it off, but it was annoying that he made a snide, snarky, insulting comment EVERY TIME I interacted with him!! He finally brought me a "vegetable platter" and proceeded to misidentify two of the four items on the plate! Two of the things were good (the roasted squash? hello, he should have just given me a pile of that!) -- but two were bland and icky. I know the place specializes in meat and such, but geez -- even my HUSBAND can whip up a tasty plate of sauteed veggies!

This is the update of my review. I wrote below in July 2010 based on my experience. I was not surprised to find out that I was not the only one who had issue with the valet service. Finally, CBS Atlanta broadcasted that their valet guy handed the car to a theif. Here is the link and you can type the name of the restaurant on the search to get the news) (Kudzu is not allowing me to paste the whole link. www.cbsatlanta.com The live band is good but the place is too loud you can hear nobody. I told the server the kind of wine that I liked and he made terrible suggestion, nothing like my taste. The food was OK. Nothing special to be noted. The valet guy misplaced my car key to somebody else's tag. I had to wait for 30 minutes to get my car pulled. This was not pleasant experience at all.

I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. But it was all outweighed by being held hostage for over 30 minutes waiting on the valet to bring the car around. It was quite the scene out in the valet breezeway - the valets were rude and unapologetic and the customers were getting rowdy too as a result of the situation. Reports on the situation to the manager inside the restaurant were met with a shrug. The food, though good, is not worth a return trip.

I have been here many times and each time it gets better. Last time we had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time but it was worth it. It just shows you how popular this place really it. Get the calamari...yummo!

Sorry valet company at Two Urban Licks should be FIRED-rudest guys. After a poor dinner, we went to retrieve our vehicle. We were told 4 times they were getting our car-my husband walked to the end of the dock and saw the valet inside our car (valet did not even lock the doors when he parked it). Asked what the problem was, they lost the key! It had been 35+ minutes and they did not even have the courtesy to inform us. My husband asked where the key was and the rude valet said "I don't know, do you think I ate it". I had to hold my husband back as we asked for the manager; he came out to find us calling the police. They finally admitted the VALET GUY TOOK OUR CAR KEY's HOME and he was 1 hour away. We waited 2 hrs 10 min for the key. The manager insulted us more by offering $50 he took from the valet tips. We had a $60K Mercedes in his lot with no key, do we look like we need a $50 tip, HOW DARE HE!!!! We sat in his place of business for his low budget rent-a-valet character to return with our key.Still concerned he made copies of our keys. WARNING, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KEYS/CAR WITH THE VALET AT TWO URBAN LICKS. Owners don't care enough about customers to invest in quality valet!!

Went there last night with my husband and sister. Fabulous time! Cool, industrial set-up. Had no idea what was coming when we pulled up onto a loading dock! Only waited a few minutes for a table in the bar area, then our dining table was ready before our appetizers came out. The calamari was divine! Entrees were outstanding as well as well as the wine we had with dinner. A+++

I had my birthday party there recently and thought the food and vibe were great. Our server had a bad case of interrupt-itis - completely breaking into conversations to ask us if we'd like to order. That was kind of rude. That being said, my party created quite a challenge for him (think: musical chairs) and he handled it with skill and humor. So I guess I call it a draw. The empanadas were outstanding, as were the fried green tomatoes. Was disappointed the menu on the website was not the same as what they were using. Apple tart for dessert was awesome. They even sent me an un-requested Pot du Creme for the occasion, and cheerfully inscribed with chocolate sauce: "Happy Bithday" Best bithday party I've ever had! I'll be back to try more food.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. The menu isn't to overwhelming, I mean it's just perfect!! Prices are very, very fair to say the least. The food is always served hot...not warm like most joints. The atmosphere is a little pretensious but hey it's ATLANTA. I love this place!!!

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing...I also like the fact that the menu changes a bit daily. A tad bit pricey, but worth it. The staff was great inside the restaurant and out. Our valet, Mario, even let us know about some of the company's other restaurants (in and out of the state). I was quite impressed and will be back.

I've been to Two a few times and even considered having a private event there (but later changed my mind when I found discripancies in the contract). Pros: Excellent food, fun atmosphere Cons: Poor service, rude hostesses, looooong waits!

The food here was excellent! My significant other and I like to come here for special occasions. (It's good, but not cheap!) Our server was clearly under 21, so it was a little cheesy when he tried to tell us about his "favorite wines". (I'm sure this kid had a real refined palate!) At any rate, it has a hip atmosphere and we loved every bite!

Really liked the atmosphere- nicely decorated and live blues band REALLY added to ambiance. Waitress a little over bearing- all food and drinks were great- HOWEVER too heavy on the spices- squash salad could be amazing but incredibly too hot to eat-same for the sauce on the Ahi Tuna. Otherwise, great experience.
