I have a bit of a wild experience, they gave me a container with a hole in the roof and rain ruined my bedroom suite from Ashleys furniture, which had cost me over 10k. They admitted they were at fault and then offered me $900 but only AFTER I agreed to sign a gag order forbidding me telling anyone of the experience. They claim that all of your belongings become freight and that they are only worth .10 cent a pound. No matter what the actual worth of the items are....BEWARE!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience, and would like to send the details of your move to our Quality Manager for review. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will be in touch soon. Thank you, Autumnn M.
I am so angry with them that I'm signing up just to post this. I'm on hold with them for 30 minutes. No response on when the box will be delivered. OK - they just hung up. OK - got on the phone - and they lost track of 1 of the 3 cubes. I asked where is the cube and he answered "How am I supposed to know?" "What?!?!" This is your job to know!" And he just put me on hold again... RIDICULOUS!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! They were supposed to deliver this morning and we even hired movers to come. No delivery. Last response was that it will come later in the afternoon. REALLY? SERIOUSLY? no explanation or apology. We hired moved, served and paid for elevator used, and to add oil to fire, is not responsive. How can such a company operate? AND yelling at the customer?!?! Are you serious? And saying you don't know where the cube is!?!? I don't think I've been so angry at a service in my life...

Jimmy, I'm very sorry for any problems with your move. I would like to help--could you send your move info and the names of those you spoke with (and the location) to me directly at email@example.com? Someone will be in touch shortly. Thank you, Autumnn M. U-Pack Moving
After researching the different moving options (Uhaul, Allied, PODS, etc), I chose Upack based on the price, size of the container, and various online reviews. They delivered the Relocube on-time and placed it exactly where I wanted. After packing it myself in a "less than perfect" manner, U-pack picked up the cube and it was delivered to our new apartment within 3 days. The contents settled, with caused some damage, but 100% of the damage was due to my hurried packing job. My only complaint would be that U-pack doesn't throw in some furniture pads and straps. I am otherwise completely satisfied with the price, speed-and-quality of service, and the size of the Relocube was perfect for what I was bringing. Thanks U-Pack!

Moved cross-country from Rhode Island to Idaho. PODS would not ship to our location, but U-Pack did. Cubes arrived on time and driver was super helpful, giving us lots of packing tips etc. We had some moving delays and ended up needing an extra day to pack. Communication with driver/dispatch was great and they let us have the extra day without charging us the fee. We drove cross-country and were able to track our cubes as they were shipped cross-country. They arrived at our destination on time and driver was very helpful - spent a while with us figuring out the best places/configurations to put our cubes so that we'd have the least amount of work unloading. Once unloaded, called dispatch and the cubes were taken away quickly. Great experience, would use them again in a heartbeat.

Moved from Newport Beach California to suburban Illinois in July 2013 using a U-pack relo cube. The quote was cheaper than any other similar service (i.e. Pods). ABF, the freight company who handles the actual move was great. Our cube arrived on time, was picked up when we wanted and delivered 2 days earlier than originally promised to our new place. Excellent customer service and the driver even waited while we unloaded our cube so it didn't have to sit out on the street for 2 days. Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was damaged. We highly recommend U-Pack and ABF!

ABF U-Pack was great. Everyone I spoke with on the phone and the delivery men who dropped off my "relo-cubes" were extremely friendly and helpful. I chose U-Pack because it was cheaper than other "pod" companies and moving companies. I loved that my cubes were delivered right on time in Kansas City and reached my destination in Cincinnati exactly 4 days later as expected. None of my furniture was broken and the cubes were perfectly clean and spotless when they were delivered for me to load. When I was driving my car from Kansas City to Cincinnati for my move, I saw many ABF moving trucks, which was encouraging and I thought they were even possibly my own furniture in the trucks! I would recommend this company to anyone!

This was the best move I have ever had! The truck was on time and the driver from Kingman, AZ, "Dean" was absolutely the BEST! He was friendly and extremely helpful with my questions. As my trailer approached the final destination in New Jersey, I was notified an hour prior and was prepared for it's delivery. The driver that brought my trailer to me was just as outstanding as the first! "Tom" was an outstanding driver and friendly and helpful. I really don't think that I would ever look to another company when I need another move. The U-Pack system worked perfect and I could not be happier! Thank you for a great transaction!!

Everything went well for me, no glitches at all. It was a stress-free experience. Not only that, but every time I called, a real human answered the phone and could answer all of my questions quickly. Also, the size of the cube was great - it was larger than other competitors' cubes I have seen in my neighborhood, and I was able to fit everything I needed in one cube.

Although customer service was quick to respond, I remain unhappy with the $50 compensation offered to me. U-Pack did not deliver in time promised of 2 business days. Reload Cube had 5 hours in-State to travel but went to another State and is taking over 5 days to be delivered. Now my son is at College sleeping on the floor for three days with no cook ware or dishes or clean clothes. He had to purchase an ethernet cable because his is packed in the ReloCube. U-Pack says the delivery time was an "estimate" and I could have purchased a "guaranteed" delivery. I never thougth that would be necessary to move the ReloCube 5 hours away in the same State. U-Pack refuses to appropriately compensate us for our losses. Instead of being totally settled into his apartment and ready to go for his first day of classes, he will have to take delivery while also juggling classes and homework. We are a military family with husband/father deployed to Afghanistan. I thought this would be a good solution to get our son's household goods to College only 5 hours away. We built in two extra days in the process to account for traffic or vehicle issues. This is totally unacceptable and has put more stress and anxiety on an already sacrificing family. U-Pack offered me a $50 discount for "customer satisfaction" but that is completely insufficient to compensate us for the damages done. I am far from satisfied and totally disappointed in this company. Don't recommend it at all.

ABF U-Pack Moving - U-Pack ReloCube. I just moved a family member from central Delaware to Augusta, GA. During my internet search for rental prices I found this site and after reading the reviews I decided to try U-Pack due to the reviews made (thanks everyone for writing your reviews). Couldn't beat the price... It was better than renting a larger than needed truck (to tow my car for the return trip). I have used professional moving services (prior military) and had always had something broken. My movement with U-Pack was a delight as nothing was damaged, broken or shifted in the ReloCube and no boxes were flattened, which shows that the movement and transportation "is not" damaging as one would expect from a freight shipping company. Yes, careful packing did help!!! I received timely email updates concerning my quote and move. The drop-off/spotting and pickup of the ReloCube was on-time and effortless. The destination apartment management even commented about the delivery and pickup of the ReloCube; they had never seen it done so fast. Dealing with the customer service at the origin (Federalsburg, MD) and destination (Augusta, GA) terminal was outstanding (informative, friendly and helpful). The drivers were polite and professional. They positioned the ReloCube during spotting and drop-off exactly where I wanted it. I happily recommend ABF U-Pack to anyone.

I had an amazing experience moving from Dallas to St Louis with AFB U-Pack Relocubes. In Dallas the cubes were not allowed to be at the apartment complex so I hired movers who packed everything up in their truck and took it to the Dallas terminal and unloaded into the cubes. The movers ran late and we were there far past the normal hours but there was someone there to help us get to our cubes and even locate a 3rd when we realized everything was just not going to fit. In St Louis I was contacted about scheduling a time to have them delivered. My apartment here did allow them to be on property but only for 24 hous. We planned for a 8-12 delivery. The driver called at 7:45 and said he was driving in, perfect! My 3rd cube was not very full and I asked if we could empty it quickly so it wouldn't take up more space. He said that would make his day easier transporting them so he helped out and got everything inside before the rain hit. Movers came and unloaded. Driver called at 11:45 to see where we were and we had only 1 item left to unload, we did that and he showed up and took the units. They were only on property for about 4 hours total. PERFECT!!!

I have always been a self-mover using U-Haul. But this time I moved from Virginia to Indiana and didn't want to drive that distance. I used ABF for transportation but loaded and unloaded myself. What a great job! They were responsive and a great value. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Thank you for the great review. So glad you moved with us--we would love to help with any moves in the future (but hopefully you'll be able to enjoy your new home in Indiana for a little while first)! :)
We heard of ABF U-Pack from reading online reviews, and decided to use them for a move from Florida to Michigan a couple weeks ago. We reserved 28' of truck (goes by linear feet). The driver showed us how to pack the truck, and we ended up getting the contents of our whole house into 13' of truck! The total cost was BY FAR the least expensive of any company we looked at, and we didn't have to drive a truck ourselves. We would absolutely use them again. (One other thing, though, is it did take a week or so for the truck to arrive- no big deal for us, as we knew this in advance and just didn't leave FL right away.)
